I was trying something with the hair on this mini. Close up, the mini has the "Orphan Annie" look. I'm still working on extreeme closeup detail and doing the whites of the eyes is something I have to correct for, making the pupils is almost (for me at this point) like an old Soyus / Apollo docking. (You can tell how old I am from that statement.) You can look at my attempt on my cherubs ... almost Daliesque.

Better highlighting on the plate armor, and maybe some on the red skirt thingy. fill in the spider (?) on the axe, maybe with some back ink or flesh wash. You already know about the face, unfinished eyes won't even get you a 5 on CMON, and lastly finish the base. I started out with just white gluing some gravel down, and as cheezy as that is it's still waaaay more acceptable then NO basing at all. | |
