I painted this for a member of the Reaper forums for one of their mini exchanges. I originally planned to go with more stereotypical witch colours, but inspired by the fall colours outside my window, in the end went with a more autumnal scheme. Her tattoo is the Wiccan symbol for the goddess. I had intended to paint more symbols on her cloak and the brim of her hat, but I felt it was more autumn-like to let colour be the main decorative element.

I like this version of Elise very much. Face turned out very well, great facial expression. I also like the colours very much. Tattoo looks good too. Only thing I had changed would be the colour of that pumpkin, it's to brown I think it should be more yellow or orange. |

I think she's amazing! You did a great job on her face. I agree with your decision to leave the freehand to a minimum-it would be distracting and your color selection is spot on. I also agree with airhead-a few more highlights on her hat and cape would really make her pop. |
