This was a really speedy job for me - I basically painted it all this evening as he was a present for my dad's birthday and he was here waiting to collect it!! So parts of it aren't quite up to scratch, but considering the time frame involved, I was pretty chuffed with the result!
My dad has a High elf army for warhammer and wanted a new lord for it and obviously with my HF slant I had a Daphos ready and waiting! He has only been into warhammer for about 18 months when he started gaming with my 12 year old brother but now he is hooked! Daphos is painted in my dad's army colours of dark red and blue/white.
He is based simply for gaming and to match the rest of the army.

Great job! I love the reds! I just couldn't help thinking that if you gave him black hair, he'd look a lot like Star Trek's Mr. Spock in armor, and with longer hair  (the long lost episode: "Spock Gets Medieval"!) |

Gah, your rush job beats any of my painstaking work. Amazing. Also the mini has way more bad ass character than if it was a typical Dark Elf - he is out for blood and no quarter given. I guess "these aren't your father's elves" isn't the appropriate expression though since this one IS... |
