This figure was a pleasure to paint.He is 28mm heroic scale but as he is a bit on the "Arnie" side he actually stands about 33mm to eye level.Ive gone for senmm on the sword blade and decided against dirtying him up with bloodstains etc.I have set him on a barron desert base cos thats what I remember from the Conan comics I used to read.The figure comes with 3 head options as seen in the bottom pics.Im pleased with the pink/green blend on the orc head.Im going to do the full orc next with some conversion work.

Thanks guys.The heads are on base of their own in the Hasslefree display cabinet.I only usually adjust white balance.I see what you mean with the gold Peter,the pommel has more depth but the hilt is flat and I found it difficult.And now you mention it I see what you mean about the eyes,they look a bit sore,must be all the sand in his face |

Looking very good mark!! Flesh tones are very rugged and its obvious he has been out in the scorched desert for some time! SE NMM looks great too, but the one thing I think is lacking is the NMM gold. It looks a bit too yellow to me, but i think some darker shading would fix that. I also think there is a little too much contrast round his eyes giving him a bit of a 'gollum' look. But these are just me being picky and trying to help - I still think he is really cool!!
ooooh, and I love the other heads you've done! I have this model on my desk and will be doing him ASAP! |

Great work Mark, loove the sword, nice base too, awaiting the Orc. Have you tried using Auto Levels in photoshop, they seem just a tad dark (just an observation, I dont 'vote' on photography-unless you can't actually see anything ) |

Awesome work Klute. The guy's so dark that the NMM sword REALLY pops you. What's going to happen to the other 2 heads? That Orc could make the head of a cool D&D baddie, just an idear |
