This was the first i painted of a whole command squad, a bit of a learning curve with nmm battle-damege, which i think i got as well as i could, i went for a style which is quite different to what i normally do, as i tend to use a much earthier pallatte for most minis, but i think it kind of suits this model in a cartoony sort of way.

Awesome Detail!! + non-metals. Maybe its the pic, but the sword looks a bit bland.. Is it supposed to be glowing red hot? maybe do a few more highlights to make glowing effect? I have no idea what i'm talking about, looks incredible nonetheless!! Looks like a picture!!! |

I have to agree with the red (although it could just be the angle).
Apart from that, this is a beautiful and very striking figure. What colours did you use for the NMM? |

Very nice piece! I love the gold and the smooth blending. The freehand is neat and the battledamage looks good too. There could be some contrast added to the sword around the hilt, and the red looks a bit flat. Other then that, brilliant. | |
