Oil Sucker 13-Apr-07 #221238 | | Rating: 8 Compare to most of your other stuffs, this one does not look that great. The Gautlet would need a bit more work to smoothen the large areas and the fingers need a bit more work as well. The lack of rob and cloth made him look more like a obliterator than a Ultramarine master. Also, the square terminator armor looks like chaos...As well, the like on top of the model seem out of place and the bolter seem to be a bit of odd. Suggest you put a wire of some king attach to the back.
Make the story short, good job. Strongly recommend a robe... |
grifon 16-Aug-06 #190542 | | Rating: 9 Antar000 - Reality check time, these are molds but they have to be designed and cut, trust me that isn't easy, vector artwork and design ESPECIALLY in 3D is very hard...You need to really back of the jealousy and envy, I think its because he makes so much money off them that people get upset... |
Apocalyptic 02-Aug-06 #188123 | | Rating: 9 well, I have to agree with death here, Antar seems a bit jealous. So what if Scibor uses molds, he still have to use his skills to make those from scratch, right?
And the size is a bit bigger then the GW standard. you can tell that from the head, and the size of the bolters compared to the fists.
A great sculpt none the less |
deathw1nglord 11-May-06 #177999 | | Rating: 10 Antar000 I don't understand all the hostility.
Scibor is a great sculpter and yes he uses molds but he makes his own molds. I think that the lot of you are jealous and need to keep it to yourselves. I feel that this model is THE SAME scale as GW. |
Antar000 06-Jan-06 #162320 | | Rating: 6 for one, philologus, he uses molds: he carves the patterns out of a harder substance first, thus being able to create a relief many times even though he only really did it once.
The feet are too rounded for my tastes. The searchlight looks goofy, as has been saud, and I don't get where the ammo for those bolters is coming from. And how does that man fit into all that armor? his feet should be at his knees, and his arms straight out, nowhere near even his elbows. The scale seems to be off, more so than for GW pieces. |
Tony Manero 20-Jun-05 #137673 | | Rating: 8 extracool man! except for the searching light (it's not a scavenger ) and the TOO SMOOTH fists... i hope they are work in progress... |
D.O.Error 29-Apr-05 #131604 | | Rating: 8 Love all the detail work on the legs and chest armor. The light on top looks clumsy and out of place. Really like the HUGENESS of your terminators! |
philologus 29-Apr-05 #131582 | | Rating: 9 Very Nice and very BIG. Please share how you do the swirlies on the armor. I have tried this effect in vain. |
