This started out as a test model, to try pushing NMM on Red armor, along with my first attempts at steel NMM and black hilighting, done back in sept. 2004. I ended up liking the simple conversion and the Red armor result so I thought I'd enter it at Baltimore GD 2005, in case I could snatch a bronze. I got lucky and won Silver!
This model served as a test for the feasability of my next project, the Khorne Dreadnought (See my Gallery).
