I've wanted to make a version of this guy for about 6 months now, and have finally got around to sculpting and painting it this week. I took about 4 days in total to sculpt it and 2 days to paint it, i know it's not identical to the cover art but i'm fairly pleased with it anyway, all comments and questions welcome as always. Great mini and great sculpting as well, I give extra marks for anyone who does even a little sculpting work on their minatures cause I recently have been learning to sculpt and know first hand how hard this Green Stuff and Miliput is to work with. I love the added details you have sculpted on and only hope that someday I can paint and sculpt as good as you, Nice Work and a solid 9 from me. |

The first word that comes to mind with this pic is "soft". Nice sculpting, but finding the sharp edges makes a huge difference (it's the one thing I struggle with the most in sculpting). Still impressive for sure. |

damn so you can sculpt as well... what an artist! IMo there is a lack of contrast, both shading and highlighting, thats why the 9. Nice metallics too.. and pretty close to the cover |

that really is sweet work Joe. like the smooth blends and limited pallette. nice smooth greenstuff work too, maybe you need to work on getting a sharp edge more, but the smooth ness of the finish shows the skill you have there! | |
