this was my entry for the french games day 2005.. IT WAS FINALIST IN THE 40K SINGLE MINI CATEGORY..
it represent a sergeant of the 17º regiment of Alphant, and i tried to achieve a dynamic sensation, because he is running to fight against the chaos forces. that is what i sculpted all the wrinkles in the same direction, and all the movement and the position of the elements in the base they are put and sculpted to increase this movement, in the direction of the elevated arm, with a curve movement. the hair, the wrinkles, the arms, the legs, the elements of the scene, and the with the sheet of identification they support this movement..
about the colours: I tried to use a very limited palette and all is based on that dirty grey , green and dark red, all the colours have part of those colours. to achieve a general look, that makes a realistic ambient..that is what I tried
the 2 last parts of the pic is an imperial guard letany book in the base with my sing (my angel)

Hay muchas cosas chulas ene sta mini.... sobretodo has dado un vuelco a tu calidad, muy bien, y conserva tu sello, cada uno tiene su estilo y las minis llevan la señal del autor. Por ejemplo el rojo del ágila del pecho o algunos freehands para mi son prescindibles, colores más sobrios, metales, oscuros le daría más fuerza a la miniatura, mas realismo, e incluso los tonos en la base... pero hay tb cosas buenísimas como son el color del uniforme, las corazas, y la cara... bravo |

Alfon tío, con diferencia tu mejor figura. El uso de las luces y las sombras así como la entonación general me parecen espectaculares. Si te soy sincero lo único que no me termina de convencer (siendo pijotero ) y que en la foto no se aprecia es su ojo izquerdo (la pupila es demasiado pequeña ). Esta figura se merece un 10 por la calidad de la pintura, de la escultura, por el esfuerzo que lleva detrás, por la ilusión con la que la has hecho y por el redescubrimiento de un gran pintor. Enhorabuena!!! |

a lomg time since i checked your account for the last time..and you have increased your level a lot..a big big step level.
the back is awesome..full of details and perfectly painted..with this leather looking.. lovely.. i adore the small details like the clock of the oxigen bomb. and the mask... the rest of the mini is brilliantly executed and specially the face, that is full of character. so expressive..and incredibly well painted and realistic..one of the best faces i've seen in fantasy models.but you should learn to do better photograps..keep it up |
