this was my entry for the french games day 2005.. IT WAS FINALIST IN THE 40K SINGLE MINI CATEGORY..
it represent a sergeant of the 17º regiment of Alphant, and i tried to achieve a dynamic sensation, because he is running to fight against the chaos forces. that is what i sculpted all the wrinkles in the same direction, and all the movement and the position of the elements in the base they are put and sculpted to increase this movement, in the direction of the elevated arm, with a curve movement. the hair, the wrinkles, the arms, the legs, the elements of the scene, and the with the sheet of identification they support this movement..
about the colours: I tried to use a very limited palette and all is based on that dirty grey , green and dark red, all the colours have part of those colours. to achieve a general look, that makes a realistic ambient..that is what I tried
the 2 last parts of the pic is an imperial guard letany book in the base with my sing (my angel)

so now i know where your avatar picture comes from ^^. this one is realy awsome piece of work....I just imagined how this would look if a whole 1500 points army of infantry looks like that....and how much time this would need to do the conversions and to paint.....outch! |

totaly incredible! i always thought this mini was much bigger, but its a 28mm! all the details are perfect, and the paintjob is flawless! yes banshee!

jajaja, pues yo apoyo a Alfonso, yo seguría dibujando los angeles :-P joer, es algo tuyo, yo lo aprovecharía. El unico problem es que yo acabaría hasta los guewos de ellos XD Sobre la mni ya te dije lo que me gustaba y asi mas detenidamente, me gusta mucho la mochila, muy lograda y detallada y el cuero me gusta mucho como lo has iluminado.que color es ese del puñal del costado??chulo chulo! Puestos a ser cabrones...no me acaba de convencer el freehand del chirimbolo de la presión de la mochila y yo quizás hubiera sombreado algo más el saco de dormir :-P asi que en vez de un 11 te pongo un 10 XDD |
