Zofmax 10-Jul-05 #140192 | | Rating: 8 I really like this piece! I even like the floor tones no to mention the skin tones. What I like best though in any vignette/diorama is that it tells a story without any words. She could be thinking "Hmmm, what shall I have for lunch today? - Perhaps, he will do..." |
No Such Agency 07-Jul-05 #139957 | | Rating: 7 Looks pretty good! Good even skin tones, though the barbarian needs some more shading in the armpit area and around that stick under his arms. Also there's a thin rim of material under the cat, and the barbarian's feet, which didn't come off when you ground the bases off (?). The red is very nice looking, rich and almost coral-like. |
frenchkid 07-Jul-05 #139905 | | Rating: 8 I must say you really seem to have mastered skin, it looks great here, on both the queen and the barbarian. The purple on the queen looks a bit flat to me, maybe some deeper shading and highlighting up to pink would help. If the yellow parts are suposed to be gold NMM well they are definetly too yellow, I sugest shading with some dark brown. The red looks kinda weird on the shell but I'm guessing it's the pic since it looks great on the seat. The hair on the guy look a bit grayish too.
But the overall effect is great, keep it up !! |
