I tried to buck the usual bright trend on this fellow by using more natural tones and subtle arabesque designs on the cloak. There are also smaller swirls on the base which is done in a late summer theme.

Wow! Very nice! I really like the natural tones and subtle freehand work on this miniature! The red/orange belts also add a splash of color but keep with the autumn theme well. Would you please share how you achieved that wonderful green on his robes?

Really nice palette, love the subtle colours. The angular patterns on the cloak would perhaps be better in a swirling, "celtic" style, to suit the naturalistic look?
