This is a group shot of the Gnobblers I painted for Paint-Aid. I wanted them all to look diferent, so I did two head swaps, added a giant trap to the one, and did my first cork base on the last. It was sort of rush job, doing all four in three days, including the minor conversions. You can see the individual minis at 96367, 96368, 96369, and 96233. They are lonely, so please go visit them, and while you are there leave comments and votes. Hope you like them - Mark

Yeah, I know what you mean about the sig. I can't paint leyyers that fine so I used a silver paint-pen. Since I can't control how wide the pen writes I couldn't help the way it came out, but it still looks better then if I did it freehand. I know everyone has heard it a thousand times before, by my piss poor photography skills have wiped out most of the highlights. The blue on the rock-hammer came out good, and some of the greens, but all of the highlights on the browns are washed out in the pic. The guy with the jacket had five layers of progressively lighter browns, but he looks like crap here. Ah well, until my picture taking skills improve... thanks for the comment.

Uhm, there isn't anything really wrong about them, is it? The conversions surely make them jump out of the tabletop standard mass, but the highlights (well, most of them) are too blotchy, not smooth enough to earn a real 7 (or is it the pic? This time it doesn't look like this to me, but I'd be looking forward to changing my opinion if I saw a better one). Moreover, your signature "MT" should be way more subtile, it is too "fat" now. That is a problem I also have... A good signature can really improve a miniature's look, but a bad one can destroy it as well. Last but not least I prefer sanded and flocked bases, not only flocked ones. However, besides all my criticism, those guys have got style. I'll give you a 7 but vote 6, so you get the 6.5.
