I'm extremely happy with how the red on the robes turned out, as well as the water (it's a bit hard to see from the angle of the picture, but it's probably my favorite part of the mini. I was going for a "lava" like icon on the sword, as if it were a sword of power. There are mistakes for sure. The brown cloak has chunky highlites in the back. Also, this might be one of the worst moldings Ive ever attempted to paint (as opposed to return for an exchange). There was flash and chunks of molding all over the place. Im probably lucky he turned out at all!

Celthulhu 20-Jan-06 #164516 | | Rating: 8 The base looks great, and there's a good contrast between the lights and darks. |
ahrimon 05-May-03 #37639 | | Rating: 8 The metallic work on this piece is awsome. IMHO the armor and the great rust coloring of the sword make the whole mini. Very nice job.

slappingpaint 08-Oct-02 #15791 | | Rating: 8 even after all your whining, this looks good ;-) the base and the reds save the mini. the brown shirt (right arm) lacks your usual painting skill. good luck with it at auction! | |
