hello to everyone!
this was my entry at GD germany 2005 - a 100% self sculpted unit of dark elf cold one knights which took silver at the golden demon  (even with my lack of skills in painting them up one week before the GD i achieved silver - the sculpting took me quite too long... about 180-200h) - but i like how the turned up - even if there is a lot of improvment to be done... ;-)
i tried to make this knights far more dynamic, rough, more personalized and tried above all to stick more to the illustrations in DE armybook - thats why i sculpted the whole stuff ;-)
so greetings to all the people i met at the GD and had the pleasure to talk to them - especially the french team (salut denis .B ,kisscool, borgio, jerems,.. il y avait toutes un paquet de france mais j´ai oublie les noms.. il y en avait tellement... ;-)), the germans - hi bestienmeister!!, the austrians - trovarion! and banshee- hope to cu you all in france next year! a la prochaine en france!

Hi Degra, great unit you did here. They look much better than the GW - ones. I also love the base - design. I think you could have placed 1st if you would have spend more time on the painting. Nevertheless, very good work. Keep on... |

As I told to you in germany. the paintjob and the base can be improved, but it is good enough, but really the sculptwork imressed me.. it is awesome at design, idea, and so well executed.. some details are so good like the one who is shooting, and the movement of the reptiles is amazing.. nearly perfect..
it was a pleasure to met you there and to talk with you, and i am very happy for your award. great done!.. in general it is a 10 rating work |
