hello everyone...my latest attempt, I was trying to work on freehand. I entered it into the Fozzbozz competition...and i must say, madienhead minis are nice. I enjoyed it!

The base is amazing!!! I'd easily give that a 9!!! The model on top is great too, but could do with a little more contrast. I'd bring the flesh tones up to GWs elf flesh with a touch of white added. I'd also give a thin wash of elf flesh over the tatoos to make them appear 'under' the skin. Slightly darker lining between areas may also help make the mini pop. But still VERY good! 8.5 for me! |

Becca, the water effect is truelly awesome! Although reste is technically clean, Anders nailed down the fact that a bit more highlights could have given more depth. On a more positive note, the freehand is very good (but a little blue highlight could have been added on the heat spots). The eyes are lovely but maybe a lighter color (green or blue) could have added contrast to the dominating brown of the skin. |

The water effect on the base looks really beautiful. The rest of the mini is also very good. The freehand and the face stands out in particular. Maybe the skin could use a bit more highlighting on the uppermost areas and the horns on the standard could have been given some more attention, but overall this is a very striking mini! |
