      Hi,
      Real great stuff everybody!
I\'m just on sculpting an Uruk-Hai.

      What do you think?

      Hi and welcome Asteriks.
That looks pretty good for an orc. The proportions look good and theres plenty detail.
I would concentrate on tidyness. Things like the mail links being regular and the same size. Armour plates being symetrical.

Voila, Asteriks\' Uruk-hai. Now EVERYONE should be able to see it.

I\'m really liking this, very top-notch sculpting. This\'ll look great when it\'s done!

Everybody\'s stuff looks great! I wanted to toss something out there I\'ve currently got \"corked up\". The inspiration is Gabriel from the Constantine flick and will be \"loosley\" based on that design.

I made a little press mold to crank out the feathers for the wings. They won\'t be anywhere as large as in the screen cap though, just for logistics.

Not a WIP anymore, but here\'s my latest... it\'s a commision, so that\'s why i didn\'t post pics as i did it, but i do have a lot of pictures of it at different stages if anyone\'s interested.

i know this is a little late but can anyone tell me wat the guy making the nurgle bust on page 6 was using to make it (the pink skin colour lookin stuff)

      sorry for late post.

      Hi Stradinator.

The pink stuff would be a polymer clay. eg FIMO
      , SCULPEY.
That stuff stays soft until it is baked in an oven to harden it.......hence the blackened look of the first pic.

@Patrick.....great start. I always thought she would make a cool figure.

@Itchy Love the stance very action packed.
@Patrick arent the feather moulds the wrong way around.

@Patrick: The face looks really good and the proportions are right. Very nice!
@Itchy: Nice pose indeed. Is the cloak already finished? I\'m missing some folds in there.

Here some WIP pics of an orc I\'m making, it\'s the fat one who discoveres Frodo and Sam in their Orc armour in the Rotk-SEE.

We are the Tick! Yes, I used Super Sculpey! Wondeful stuff, and relatively cheap too. Sadly, the burn happened when I jumbled the Fahrenheit/Celsius. It\'d been so long since sculpting, it never occurred to me that it was just too hot. Ah well - never again!

Good luck with your project, whatever it may be.

      Thats a good likeness Asteriks.

This is a practice dwarf I have done. I might get around to casting him depending on how the skeleton fares.

OgreBane - Thanks, it\'s off an awesome concept sketch Ari did for me, he\'s great at giving personality to a commision\'s discription.

Asteriks - Yes it\'s done. It has a few rolling folds in it, but is mostly flat for an easier spot to work freehand on.

@Klute - Thanks, Tilda looks pretty good in Narnia too! That\'s next.

@Ogrebane - those are the feather masters. here is the actual mold

      @Asteriks - Thanks! I\'m diggin\' that orc too! Ain\'t screen caps great?

Can\'t see pesky Photobucket where I am - I\'ll have to look at the other posts when I get home. :flame:

I thought that was her in Narnia.
Something odd about her in a pleasing way. Like a lot of those \"supermodels\".

Constantine was a missed opportunity as a movie.... But the sculpt looks as though it\'ll be very tasty Patrick
