Crystal Brush 2015 winners announced!

So these are really the winners? The ones they didn't lose pictures for? There were tons of other entries, lots of great stuff never seen in the online voting. Seems like some people got screwed.

The judges made a first cut and only those pieces went into the online gallery. I know that surprised a lot of people (myself included) but it is posted in the judging section on the crystal brush site:

"a) All entries which make first cut will be photographed by CMON and AdeptiCon staff."

If you click on the above link it will take you to just the winners in each category. But from there you can click on 'gallery' at the top to see everything that made first cut. There are some entries I am surprised that didn't make the cut, but there's always going to be differing opinions on pieces. I was a little disappointed that some categories got cut down to only two entries so they did not even hand out a bronze medal. Historical Single, for example, had 7 or 8 entries but only 2 made the cut. My guess is the judges are trying to create a set standard across the categories and only pieces meeting that are eligible for trophies regardless of how many (or few) there are in a category.
