Nice score with the 2 DnD minis, one of which I...
Glad you liked everything Beowulf! Im glad they all have a good home and will be put to good use :)
Looks like I can be unflagged now.
Just dropped off BeowulfTheHunter's package at the post office which will ship it out tomorrow.
They said he'll receive it in 5 business days. So either Friday or Monday if they don't count...
Sent my Info, just awaiting shipping info from beowulfthehunter :)
Hopefully we manage to get some more people, I can't imagine no one on this site has a copious amount of plastic/metal/resin crack to rid themselves of :P
Ya I went through my "pile o models" this weekend and found some solid choices that will hopefully receive a lot better home than I can give them at the moment :P I thought this would have a lot more...

This is also my first time so flag me up as well :)
Also, as for where you get Pcard, any modelling store should sell it, generally i pick it up from a model train store. I've also heard of people getting it from art stores near college campuses and...
I actually enjoy planetstrike quite a bit, it's good for a casual game for fun with buddies.
As for cheap buildings, try the dollar store for the bastion/castle shaped buckets people use to make...
I completely agree with what everyone has said, from what i can tell amidst the blur, your models are definitely not bad as you would have us believe. I've only been in this hobby for 2 years now,...
Thanks, although it wasn't my intention to blend the grey into the blue, as it's separate trim on the armour. but you have inadvertently given me some inspiration for my next project, i never...
another update, after looking at it, i agree that the gore was completely OD in contrast with the model, so i toned it all down with some heavy washes to make it look like it's all dried up now....
I was planning it on being just an insanely bloody battle, due to the Carcharodon's brutal fighting tactics in the Badab War. The idea was to have the streets running with blood. i was planning on...
i actually mixed blood red with water effects, and flicked it all over using a GW tank brush, so it does shine and pop, just doesn't show up well on camera. it'll be adding varnish on top to layer it...
Update time!!!!! painted the base yesterday, as I've never done blood before, feel free to bludgeon me with criticism until i no longer feel my toes :P. I'm thinking I should add some darker tones to...
Thanks for the encouragement guys, here's hoping i don't mess it up during painting, as there's quite the talent to look up to on this site. I hope to post updates in a day or two :) And i agree...
update as promised, added more to the base and repositioned him. less dynamic overall, but i think it looks a lot better regardless

Problem solved. I extended the top of the base a bit and have him standing more or less normally. not quite as dynamic as i had planned, but this is my first time with a resin model, so I don't wanna...
thanks, now that you mention it, i gotta say i agree, i'll work on it :)
i like the idea that Mr.S.Marbo suggested with the toxic waste base, possibly with some industrial wreckage amongst the toxic sludge. looking great so far though, can't wait to see it finished
I've decided to take a small break from my 8,000 points of orks, and really like the New forgeworld model of tyberos, as well as the backstory of the Carcharodons, so i bought my first forgeworld...
here's the final updated pic to my megadread i scratchbuilt/kitbashed. just finished basing him last night, I'll eventually add snow onto the base to fit in with the rest of my army, but as i have...
sweet, thanks!
lol not at all, as I said, i have no issue blowing entire paychecks on GW product, I'm just an awful sculpter, and unless i'm doing conversions for orks (my main army) i'm not that great at it. i'm...
I'm thinking about starting up a new space marine army, and I was wondering if any of you know of any manufactures that make 28mm "space marine-esque" type models, such as captains, librarians etc. ...
Phenomenal work! this the updates just keep getting better and better (i suppose that's the point of progress) but i digress, keep up the great work, cant wait to see it all finished.
Thanks guys, appreciate it a lot. with some of you I've been following your work for quite some time and you guys inspire me quite a bit, so the positive comments let me know I'm on the right track....
thanks guys, I still have a bit of work to do on it still now that i'm looking at it in a larger view, mainly filling in the area near his "butt" with some grubbins and wires. as for the boss pole, i...
I've been working on this for a few months now,(but only put in about 8 hours of work so far, due to large breaks) only because I had hit a snag with how to put on the legs in a stable fashion so...
i cut the plasticard so it blended with the contours of the nose, heated it in water and bended it around the front. then cut a top and bottom piece out to full in the gaps. :)
Front end made with plasticard (my first time using it, I'm VERY pleased with the results)
