I have tried Tamiya Fine Surface Primer (white) and I really did not like it. I found the coverage poor and it was rough and spotty.

But automotive primer is a great idea.

Have you used Rust-oleum on minis? It sold for exterior use, painting straight over rust. I expected it to be thick and goopy.

I used Krylon ultra flat white primer for ages and I was very happy with it. It's not longer for sale in Ottawa, Canada as far as I can see.

I see what you are saying Trystan, but I am not sure I agree. I think people wanting to click on the missing "No Auctions" button are unlikely to rate auction minis and pretty certain not buy one on...

I liked the idea of leaving comments (without ratings). The best I could do here is to leave comments with ratings. I commented on +10 minis today. I'm single-handedly reforming this board!

I just saw a Kickstarter update that said the ship arrives in the US mid Dec and Xmas would be hard to make. Early January sounds possible, I guess. The other boat gets to the UK, in late Dec.
