That would be awesome. I've liked the trackers I've seen so far that you guys have created. I wish GG would release more assets. I'm sure a fan would make a good app. ^_^

Very cool!
How do you deal with printing off the custom cards and the backs being different?
[CENTER]
Those are awesome! I'd love to hear the pricing on them.
I know Last Night on Earth has a point system for making custom scenarios, it would be kinda cool of point values were assigned to the various skills, then we could make our own characters by...
I think someone should start a Custom Zombicide Superhero thread. That would be awesome!
Great job on the card, by the way. Is it posted in the custom character section?
Alarm Clock: I like it. Maybe have it cause 3 tokens for one turn?
Road Flares wouldn't block the line of sight of humans I wouldn't think, BUT I do like idea of it distracting the zombies...
Thanks for putting this together. I'm still waiting on my set...but hope to be playing it soon!
Here's an idea for:
Blend in: Player can ignore 2 zombies per action point and move to an adjacent square. So 4 zombies (2 actions to get to an adjacent square) and 3 action points for 5 or 6...
Dang. I was hoping to see more. They have toxic zombies up..... but I want to see more!
Rotted Capes is coming out.... simple D10 system and has zombies & Superheroes.
Plus there is always Savage Worlds (which I am a HUGE fan of).
Oooh....I like the cardio rule. That could've saved my guys on a couple of different occasions.
Also, is there a page with JUST the new character cards, so we don't have to search through all...
Cool! Thanks for sharing!
It is inspiring!
Coooool! I am excited as well!
Have any pics of new sculpts for this been put up?
Where is the FAQ? I must have.... off to search for it now....
Skeeter, let me know what you find out. I have the same problem.
I played last weekend alone, then with a friend. He was surprised that there was no modification for fewer survivors or ways to tweak the difficulty.
Does anyone have any systems in place for the...
I was wondering if anyone is using card sleeves and which ones fit best.
Thanks!
We were playing last night and it occurred to me that Nick ignores the first wound every time he's attacked (according to how it's written).
So...some questions came up:
1) Does he lose any...
I didn't pay close attention to the base line being the color of the figure. I thought (dumbly) that is was a yellow line in the road. Which I also thought was a cool idea.
Those look AWESOME!
Very nice! I can't wait to get to mine... and paint them.
I picked up a set of cheap brushes from wal-mart that have triangular shafts instead of round. They don't roll away and I find them a bit easier to use.
I'm in the same boat, although I have someone who can get my delivery from my house. I won't be able to get back to get it until Labor Day.... so... since it seems it'll come before that.... I will...
So.... when is the FINAL CMKS survey come out (so we can make corrections when I thought the the THI suits were cheaper and perhaps pick up another copy of the game @ the biohazard level)?
Was it...
Hey.... I am moving down to Columbia, MO in a few weeks.... are there any Zombicide backers down there? I would love to meet some local people to play board games with.
I second that. Can we now have a vote?
All in favor of seeing the rules, say "aye".
Aye!!!!
Ah...right. Well... that's fine. I only think I'll be needing one of those.
Dang... I knew it was too good to be true.....
BTW, which one is the Aphid?
Well... I took it as good fortune and used the extra money to buy more. ^_^
Hey! Did anyone else notice that the THI Suit Model is only $10 (instead of the $15 projected?)
Well... I did that, but still wasn't patient enough. There are some patches that don't show up in the pictures... but they're there. This has been a fun process! Thanks for all the tips and...
Oh...and I did use GW dry brush "mousse". That stuff is interesting.
On the other hand, my 10 y.o. dry brushed with regular paint and did a good job.
I did all of my dry-brushing pre-dip.
I may try some post dip to see the difference. I have another 14 zombies, 12 skeletons and some knights to work on... if I can find time.
So you see Droganus, there is hope! You can do it if I can!
This is my second batch of Skeletons. I experimented with Dry Brushing. I can see I need to do a better job of making sure there is less on the brush, but I'm pretty happy with them.

I think the law is you don't need a permit TO carry a weapon. They have open carry laws if I'm remembering correctly. Just like the days in the Old West.
You're being clear. I get it. I just can't wait for the actual rules.
Thank you again for the French to English translation. Greatly appreciated.
Amen! No more CMON Kickstarters..... wait till January..... please.......
@Droganis You'll see the skeleton my 6 y.o. painted... it came out pretty good and I tried not to do too much. So I know you can do it!!
Thanks for the update Shoogo. I agree, the handing things back and forth is a bit lame. I might allow it once because that makes some sense... but multiple times is ridiculous.
At most it would take an hour to post the rules...so I don't think it's an issue of man power, it may be that they have different priorities. Who knows.... it would be nice to hear something...
@Andy, thanks for the kind words! I'm having fun.
@Droganis - Dip works! It's amazing. As stated by others, make sure your colors are a brighter than you want.
I really need to take before...
Well... they got painted a week or so back... finally dipped them today. SO.... pics will be up in a week or so.
Well...the game comes out in August.... so the rules SHOULD be done, right?
I wonder when the map editor will be available, too.....
Me, too. I have LOTS to paint now and my son is getting into painting... so LOTs of quality time while painting. ^_^
Well...I am doing some more dipping tomorrow (hopefully) and then posting pictures. I tried some dry brushing this time with some more of the skeleton figures.
I'm sure there will be people who bought multiple sets (ahem...me?) who would part with their exclusives for a reasonable price.
Well... I may have an extra set to sell. :smile-big: I got a few extras so I can put them up on my website. I figure it'll give me something that other stores may not have if they didn't jump...
I was meaning to say that when I primed him, I did a thin coat the red of the plastic shone through the black giving him a lava-esque look. Even when I put the silver on, you could still kind of see...
Cool!
The matte spray I've been using is an old can of citadel matte. It's got to be about 10 years old.
The terrain bits would be sand/flocking.
Also...PVA glue is...Elmers wood...
I will be working on the bases and drying dry brushing on my next batch. :snicker:
So, I should dry brush before the final matte gloss spray I'm assuming.
Also, if I am putting terrain bits...
Thanks for the compliments. I am going to do something with the bases... I just haven't gotten there yet. But I will.
My first batch of zombies!
13681
13682
13683
Here are some knights I painted for my 6y.o.
The sword guy is my favorite.
13684
Thanks for the rust advice. I may have to put painting those guys off for awhile. I think the zombies are going to come put pretty darn cool looking. However, I did notice with dipping that...
I have a question about painting robots... or mostly shiny figs. What's the best way to show rust? Drybrush bronze on? Mix silver with light brown?
Well... I decided not to go with dry brushing this time.
I did however have 1 epic fail. I picked up some black dip...thinking if I used a light color...like silver, that it would fill in the...
Wow.... that is AMAZING. Speaking of dry brushing...... I'm am finished up the paint job on about 15 zombies.... what color would I want to use for dry brushing? They have different colored hair,...
Thanks for the tip. I actually may be near one in a few weeks when I take my kids to Lego Brick World - Chicago. If I have time, I'll be sure to pop in to the mall where the store is.
I also...
I agree.
I haven't backed yet.... but I suspect it's only a matter of time......
Thanks!
I will probably paint up a bunch for my 6 y.o. He's been talking about wanting to paint some of his toy knights. So I figure I'll give him a brush and some silver paint and let...
Yeah....those zombies were painted by my 10 y.o. I told him he needs to tone it down on the blood. Even if someone exploded next to you, you wouldn't be that covered. All sides (front & back) have...
I'm thrilled with the results! o.
Well... I understand the primer issue. I primed in black and painted yellow over top, which did give the texture and different places for the dip to take hold....
As you can see, the shine is gone where it was hit with the matte finish I sprayed on. They came out good!
Best minis I've EVER painted.
13549
13550
Also you can see there is no difference...
Hi Markus!
Wait until you see what they look like with the matte finish. WOW. They look 10x better. Really.... maybe I'll go get those pictures right now.
OH.... I matted them earlier before posting and they look way cool.
ALso, the first two figures I painted (archer & spear guy), I used the "satin" finish of polywax and it definitely was less...
First....I'm not sure how big these pictures are going to be. Sorry if they're HUGE.
2nd...theses are post dip, pre- matte gloss spray.
These Skeletons here are the ones I painted. I'm going to...
13519
So...here are the pre-dipped skeletons I painted. (Sorry for the small pic). Upon reflection, I realized I probably didn't need to prime and paint them yellow as they are made with yellow...
I like having all the pics in one place! Thanks for starting this!
On the off chance I go to Japan this summer.....(not sure yet), I could try and contact someone in person when I'm there about the rules and carrying the game.
Very true. But, there is the option of 4 different card backs. That's kinda cool. How big ARE the cards...do we know yet?
It just freaked me out how it shaded over the colors. It makes me want to use brighter colors.
I may have to get a container of Black polyminiwax and try that with some zombies waiting to be...
I think it would cool to get even the Beta of the rules. More eyes on the rulebook will catch errors that may slip by because everyone so close to the project knows what it's supposed to say.
...
That would be surprising. I was at a small con vending and my son came along to hang out. There he had a 1-on-1 painting tutorial. So I think he knows more than me.
As an added bonus... I dipped some minis my son painted. :snicker:
Yes sir! I shook like Elvis' hips!
Now they're safely stashed away to dry for a few days.
And....Troy is back... this time in this kick starter. :tremble!:
Oh.... I also dipped 2 in Satin miniwax dip and the other in gloss to see the difference.
Also, when I dipped them.... they looked really...really dark. Is that normal? I guess I'll see when...
Well.... I sat down and painted some of my youngest's plastic skeleton knights. They're 54mm and way easier to do. I've taken pre-dip photos and will post both sets when I'm done.
Congrats? No... congrats. I hope you win.
The minis do look cool. I am pondering jumping in.... but Zombicide has tapped me...for now.
Thank you all for the advice! I am planning a mini-painting session today with my oldest. While we won't be dipping yet, I want to make sure that when we do....I don't mess it up.
Dang, wasn't clear enough. I am more thinking once I dip & shake... there will still be some dip that may run down the base to whatever they're sitting on (and my minis are on round bases.) Like...
Okay...planning to sit down w/my son later and paint some minis (finally!).
When using the dip method... after they've been dipped.... is there anything they should be placed on so when they dry...
Or maybe he also backed Zpocalypse... I did.
Very good point. They may change.... but they'll still be know as the Tearful 107!
Okay... one more question. I've noticed in the videos I've been watching that generally the figure being painted is attached to a cork, dowel rod, bottom of a can or something for ease of painting....
Any idea when the second survey is coming out? Did I miss it?
I have to ask Misellus..why to you have Nobita has your icon? Devon is Giant. Are you a Doraemon fan?
I emailed them about Zombicide's success and suggested they look into talking to Guillotine Games about doing some tokens.
「ツロル 」ってなんですか。「トロイ」を書きたかったですか。
Really freaking cool! If he needs a nice home....... I know of spot on my dresser......
Well... that makes sense. This is my birth month. My kids even got me a tarp hat like Tallahassee's.:snicker:
Have you tried both the Gloss & Satin finish? Is there much of a difference? Does it matter?
Nice! I was in Barcelona a few years ago. Great city...heck, great country! I saw a lot of the north... Pamplona, Durago, Bilbao. Great trip!
Wait... you have a 3d printer? What would the 3D door cost of something like that be?
I have picked up the Miniwax for the dip. Now I just need to find time to paint. I will post pre & post dip pictures when I get there.
Is it safe to assume you speak French? Very handy that!
Well.... I too am a little biased if you look at my signature.
But we have a solid line of 28mm zombies and survivors.
Click here, the click to enlarge the picture.
My favorite survivor is Hank.
Any idea when we'll get to see some of the rules? There's a spot for it on Guillotine Games website with a not about getting those up soon.
Just wondering....
Their "mini cards" sound like they are those tiny poker decks you see in touristy areas. I'm willing to bet on it.
Shameless plug.... but check out my miniatures in my signature. We have 5 survivors in our line.
Here is a link to Yellow Submarine in Japan. I'm not sure if they have an English speaker on staff. However, I do speak Japanese and would be available to help out. Will work for zombies.
Well I have been inspired...I have some LNOE zombies and some 54mm Egyptian skeleton warrior figures primed. Just gotta find some time to paint. Got a busy week ahead.
Yellow Submarine is the big one in Japan. I do believe that is who Looney Labs went through when they released Flux in Japanese.
Also, I'd like to add if you have any feedback or ideas for futur releases, I'd love to here them.
Hey hotsauce, where abouts in LA? I have made it out there once a year for the past couple to hang out with a college friend. I will hopefully be going out again later this year when his movie...
Someone mentioned dipping in Miniwax which hardens real good. Maybe a dip like that would help it retain it's shape w/out warping?
That was really cool! Thank you for finding and posting that. I'm feeling more and more confident about this whole painting thing.
Thank you for the tutorial. I may be busting out some of my LNOE zombies to experiment on soon.
I also am thinking about what paint jobs to do as I will be making a foray into figure painting with this set. I was thinking that the runners should be fresher than the rest and that is why they're...
Do you mean black dip?
I am going to need to come down and see your minis painted this way one of these days.
Go to thearmypainter.com and watch their tutorial video. It looks pretty simple.
Who makes miniwax? Same company?
Also, I should be able to leave them sit for a week or more as I have a cache of painted zombies to stand in if I am needing to play before they dry.
Alas.... I will not be making it to GenCon this year, but there is a new paint company up here in Wisconsin, Prism Gaming and they will be doing workshops around the state which I AM planning to...
Let me start this by saying an I woefully inadequate as a painter. What I did try painting in high school 20 years ago looked like crap.
I usually find a friend and pay them to paint for me......
Howdy all!
I'm the producer of Biohazard Miniatures.
I just wanted to share a few pictures of our line here (because we're one of the "Other" choices of painted miniatures)
I've heard about those paints and would love to see pics. You can PM if you like. I am a non-figure painter who desperately wants to learn. I have a boat load of figures from Zpocalypse and...
Along the same lines.....are their plans for a Japanese language set? I am a Japanese teacher.....
Oh...I know.... former public school teacher here.
They even made the really nice, easy to read graphic that showed you what all you get for the $100 pledge level, too. I thought that was super helpful.
And here he is! http://www.zombiesmith.com/products/pop
There is a MJ mini out there... I have one... I can't remember the company..... let me look...
I will be watching this so I can paint my army of zombies coming. Then maybe paint a set of my own zombies.... (or not as I had a set painted up for me).
Thanks for the link Skittlebrau!
No problem. I didn't want to clutter the forums with too much info. Those curious, check my signature... nuff said.
I'm actually curious about glow-in-the-dark dice. I had some growing up and...
What's going to be kinda funny/sad... is they will be on the forums and constantly be reminded that they didn't poney up.
It would be cool if Aaron could make a "how to paint zombies" video series while doing this and then release it to help all of us who can't really paint to save their lives.
I love your signature!
Yep... you're right. I looked at it wrong. Now I feel a bit silly...
Speaking of which... when all the pledges and add ons are totalled, will you be posting that amount? It's surely to be higher than the amount on kickstarter.
I'll PM you.
I jus saw that. Heck... we could have a LNOE / Zombies / All Things Zombie Game night.
Well....there's only two of us... which I find hard to believe.
I can't wait for the blank one to be released to make custom ones.
I was looking at the minis and noticed both the fatties and the abominations have cameras, are obese and are zombies?
Is there a connection?
Check out my signature. It's one of the many things I do.
Eastern Iowa... Cedar Rapids/Marion. :cyclops:
LEGO also sells door frames (and doors) in the pick-a-brick section on their website. Those are almost perfectly scaled, too.
I've been know to make that perilous journey from time to time.
Hmmmm...... you could use tokens resting ON the car.
I think it's pretty awesome that of the 4 posts...we're in 4 different countries.
If more people don't start posting, we'll have to have some epic road trips to play with each other.
That will be a good tell. :go-away:
Also, Litko Systems makes custom counters, etc for games. Here's their site if you don't already know it: http://www.litko.net/
I found some cheap bagged Firemen and Police playsets that have vehicles that are just about perfect in scale.
Here's where I got mine: ...
I thought it would be a great time to meet some new zombie enthusiasts in your area since we all rallied around Zombicide. Let's be honest, it is much harder to spot a zombie gamer enthusiast than...
I just heard a good idea for doing this. Wedding cake tier stands.
Hi guys!
I am a long time miniature lover (who has vowed to learn to paint) and a HUGE zombie fan. So huge in fact my love of zombies turned into a small business: KingZombie.com. I produce a...
Here's a related question.... are there any clip systems for map tiles that would allow you to have a 3D map by layering the map tiles vertically? Kinda of like 3D Chess? That would be awesome for...
That would be awesome. I can't wait.
I have two boys and about 6 light sabers... that doesn't even count the foam weapons we have. My oldest was at a small con recently and spent about 2 hours learning about AMPT Guard and combating...
12949I'm a huge fan of variety. I don't think I'll be needed to get any of the extra dice offered, other than ones included for free at the Abomination level. I've already got some great survivor...
What about the Fonz as a survivor? There's already probably a good figure out for that... but he'd still be a fun one.
I guess the "easy" way around this is save it as a PDF then go to your local print shop and hope they can do it.....
Oh... a harbor.... or anything where you have limits on movement and can get trapped could be fun. What about a jail or prison?
Agreed here as well. I would like the promo figures to be not limited necessarily to the Kickstarters... but at the very least, uncommon. By that I mean I don't want them to make 5,000 when they...
I like the idea of this spreading out to be a "city wide" exploration miniature game. It could turn into something All Things Zombie by TwoHourWargames. And that would be cool.
As for...
Hello!
I'm new here, but I like what I see so far.
I'm not sure if my line of miniatures has made it onto this site or not, so I thought I'd post a little blurb about it.
Biohazard Miniatures...
