Hi Chris,
many thanks for that feedback - very helpful!
a) Point taken regarding the photos. Agreed... for Nurgle and Gobbos is seems like best fit to have a dark background... this differs...
Oh Lord... scoring below 6... made me decide to put other vampires back to shelf.
My freehand still seems to be too childish, ...
Back to Nurgle:

Like you stated in my WIP - many things "almost" done. Take the hottest iron and get it through :-)
Nice work! And wanted to state, that I like your "artist-logo" :-)
Thanks Tiki. Trying to finish things, once I've started...

Hey Dex, you can definitely compete with TenBall regarding the birdy.
You have done a fantastic job on this!
Hi guys,
I‘m doing a short Nurgle break and pushed a mini in, which was sitting for
a long time on shelf: The ice queen
Trying to practice a bit freehand. Here’s where I am so far:

Incredible work on these eyes!
@Maxwin: Lol - me too ;-)
I was firstly thinking, that I've missed another movie ^^
@Gorb: As usual, you're proofing big scuplting skills!
Great work man!
That nurgling on the right end is too funny! What is he carrying? A bomb, a bullet?
Looking great! It reminds me somehow to the scarecrow in Batman begins ^^:

Thanks gents! ;)
After that big guy I‘m now back to do battleline units. Btw... I'm proud to see him showing up today in the remarkables section.
The next batch of Blightkings is in progress:
...
Nice little band. To my mind the baby is the best painted of those.
Thanks Eki. I tried to keep that yellow colouring to clothes, as I did already for my Blightkings... so kind of "uniform" :-)
FYI: It was really fun to create a kind of "plagued tree". Sick at the...
The freehand work is marvellous, great job!

Basic layers are done. The fun is about to start:

Wow! You have really a slow hand. The dotted wing is stunning. I'm pretty sure, I would have messed it up ;-)
Glad to hear that you're back on the track. Take your time to recover! Painting might help here.
Having that said, taking a look at the blues - which turned out great! Looking forward to see more...

I love the way how you did the eyes. If you put some varnish onto those, they're like real ones. Great work!
Yeah man! What a beautifully disgusting conversion :-)
You did a very lovely work with the Centaur's basing, I like that a lot!
Guys, thank you so much for the kind words and support!
Truly appreciated. Eki is totally right, I’m really enjoying
to make my Nurgle army grow :)

Those rotten armours look beautifully disgusting!
Getting unfinished things done. Last night I decided to finish the terrain works on my AoP board 2020 - even if the competition didn't happen, I wanted to do a photo-shoot of the finished thing,...
As you and the provider are based in the UK, Brexit won't have any delay impacts. Keeping fingers crossed for a fast delivery.
Your pink bobbles look very nice my friend!
I guess this was the perfect "warm-up" for the big one?
Welcome to this place and a good start into your painting journey.
As you have been already working with smaller scales I'm convinced you have already enough practice to go for this ^^
And for sure...
Lockdown and no sports allowed, while you're having vacation? Here we go... let's get some paint to the minis ;-)
The Wurmspat is ready: http://www.coolminiornot.com/453936

Thanks guys ;)
Yep... painting goes fast, if there is vacation and no need
to stop at midnight.
The eggs are fluo pearls are got for little money in a gift shop.
Combined with some white sand...
What a beast! And yep - confirmed, the parts fit together quite well for big pieces. And smaller gaps can be filled just by using the plastic-glue.
No more fixing with green-stuff or additional...
Nice work on Dredd! "I am the law!" :-)
That guy looks very grumpy ;)
You did very nice shading on the skin.
Welcome to this place. Do you have already an idea for the basing?
Welcome to 2021. Totally agreed... it needs to get better... 2020 best characteristic was, that we can take it as a bad example how life should not be.
Enjoy your new project :-)
Hi everybody - Happy 2021 :-)
The Glottkin is ready. Meanwhile I've used candy ink for tentacles and pustules. Thanks again to Joce :-)
Here he is: http://www.coolminiornot.com/453839

Just voted for the DISCO guy. Awesome colour combo :-)
Productive days prior to X-Mas :-)
http://www.coolminiornot.com/453559
81559
This fella was already queued since a while on my desk.
As I didn't like the GW nurgle sorcerer, he will get this...
Gutrot Spume has crossed the finish lane ;-)
@Kallfa: I tried to apply your "rust-technique" on the axe.
http://www.coolminiornot.com/453528
81548
Not sure, what I'm going to start next....
Such pretty work on skin, armour and horns... I love them!
This guy is giving me a hard time...
81535
I can imagine working at a hospital is currently quite tough. Resting during painting might not worke these days.
So take your time!
Wow! What an improvement! Hot off the press once, now the veteran unit! Great stuff my friend!
Great mini, liking the colour tones you're chosen for it.
Looks like part of a chess game?
A bit more contrast on the roof tiles would pep it up.
Looking forward to see, how you will face the Colossal Squig. I had the pleasure earlier this year ;-)
If you like to take a look: http://www.coolminiornot.com/446476?browseid=10990710

Plz bring that piece to your gallery :-) It turned out great and is providing exactly the atmosphere as in the final minutes of the movie!
Besides the very nice detailed painting of this fanatic I'd like to honor you for the lovely basing. The leaves, grass and the mushroom tie perfectly together.
Thanks gents :)
@Gorb: Here a family picture, what is finished till now.
81364
The base is looking great! Looking forward to see some paint on it and the lovely landscape details you're always applying to such kind of things!
Your dio fits perfect to the illustration :-)

@Kallfa: Thanks for the hint. I recently bought the movie. Will close this knowledge gap soon :-)
Thanks for your kind comments on the armour, appreciated!
Currently working on bringing the snail to the next level.
Small update:
81202
The house is giving me a hard time...
Your "glowing" effects are very nice. This fella is looking like he was attending to a nuclear plant incident. So he's glowing for himself ;-)
Very nice work on Cornac.
Curiosity question: What are you doing with all these nicely painted busts? Do you have a dedicated rack with some lights to enjoy watching them in your home?
Would be...
Great work on the Boarboyz!
As standard Orcs are disappearing from the AOS Portfolio are you going to play them as savage boyz then?
Another creative custom product out of the Gorb-factory :-)
Can you throw some lights on what a Tetsuo-ork is?
Never heard about that term before.
Just saw that I missed to leave a comment on the bird. Beautiful work! Your basing is once again just awesome bud!
This is definitely a stunning looking crowd!
Nice progress! And always annoying if work keeps you away from doing the "real" work ya!
During these COVID times I'm doing a lot of Home Office... so all my minis sitting on the desk seem to
be...
You're mastering the painting of eyes! That's looking great. A real improvement if I remember back struggles from the past ;-)
Thanks guys. I used this weekend to finish the remaining two
of my first Blightking unit:
81151
The next challenge found a start: The monster snail
81152
You published a big set, just took a look :-) My favourite, so far, is the sekelton unit.
And you're totally right - the more minis you paint, the more you will improve. Keep going!

Thanks Gorb :-) You're keeping me motivated!
Tonight I've finished the flag bearer... so the command squad is complete. More to come:

That family photo is just great!!!
Those guys are ace!
The pack is growing ;)
81096
In general I don‘t touch a finished mini, but this Blightking
wasn‘t finally making me happy. So I decided to put some diluted
white to the skin. And now I’m happy. He really looks poisonously...
Work instructions saved - you earned a reputation point. Many thanks for this. Will ask my wife for a sponge tomorrow :-)
I really like the metals you did on the spears. Would you like to share how you've got to this nice rusty effects?
Cheers Eki - first of all: Welcome back to operations :-)
Second: Nice start on the bust. Looks like someone made this lady a bit angry ^^
@Kallfa: Thanks for the hint. I will give both a try, once I place my next oder at GSW.
Meanwhile in the swamps... the angler Toad is ready:

I applied some colourless fluo I had from a...
@Gorb: Thanks :-)
@Eki: Deal!
@Kallfa: Not yet. So far I just used the Hexwraith Flame green for poison/ghosts from GW. I checked on the Greenstuffworld page. There are two options: Fluo colours or...
I really like your customs icons. Industrial ad's in Gorb-Orcish-Style :-)
Nice start on this classic Squiggies :-)
Thanks guys :-)
@Eki: As I'm still thinking about using it on my board for 2021 (which will be Nurgle) I resisted to bring some Orc-bitz onto the gate directly.
The gate is done:...
Thx Dexter! Will think about how to build that into my next board. ;)
Gate progressing:
81034
Sticker = yes, but I‘d recommend not to use industrial ad‘s like on Kaneda‘s.
Maybe something more custom/orcish?
Or more general like like a hazardous symbol? Talking about the famous diamond...
Thanks Eki :-) It meanwhile reached the 50. So the five are full :-)
The Blightlord is done. He is now waiting for his fellas:
81031
@Kallfa: Yup, correct. I recently fell in love with the...
Awesome work on the details man!
Awesome progress on the dio. It is really incredible how many details you brought into this!
Lovely work on the base my friend!

Thanks Gorb, truly appreciating your statement!
I‘ve put the Toad on hold, due to lack of motivation (it will come back...)

Echoing the others:
Welcome back & really nice work on the Greenz! ;)
Another excellent kitbash my friend!
Thanks guys. El Papa is now with 36 votes. Feeling confident to hit the threshold
within the next 10 days.
The Angler Toad is progressing:
80953
Good to know. Looks like you're busy with other things :-)
There is a nice little tool (available freeware), which can easily stack pictures together: PhotoScape v3.7
You might wanna give it a try :-)
I like your "dark-flames" style on the horns.
Thanks Eki
@Figg: Good catch! I updated the link. Now it is working.
After the project is prior to the next...
@Metalasmedium: Here thr angler toad

Votes and comments welcome! I hope, this guy can gather >50 votes. Let's see!...
Thank you Gentlemen. You guys keep me motivated!!!
@EaterofLives: The dark scheme is based on the fact, that I‘m priming always black (old school)
and pint then from dark to light.
Papa in...
The demon turned out great! Are you going to put it onto your gallery on CMON, too?
Welcome to the show! Your freehand work on that shield is very nice.
Nicely done on both WIP's.
I would like to point out, that your Be'lakor has very good OSL. Bottom --> Top - I like this!!!
@bullfrog: The "bioluminescent blob" is an awesome idea... I'll grab this up for one of the two toads left. Some wire and resin-crystal will be my "raw's".
And I detected you guys are thinking...
Thanks guys! I took now the biggest challenge: El Papa!!!

Voted & comment left :-)
Sansa is looking great bud! You've really captured the sadness, which is surrounding her in GoT like a bad curse.
Did you already play around with the recently released contrast colours from GW?
I can strongly recommend. Especially the "Plaguebearer Flesh" ;-)
Your Kitbashes look good. I always appreciate...
Thanks :-)
The Toad is done - 2 more to handle (you never get out of work in this hobby *harhar*): http://www.coolminiornot.com/451810

What's next? hmmm... let's see...
@eateroflives: Understood, what you‘re intending to show. Will give it a try on
a larger mini, as small eyes might not be the best first thing to practice;)
Indeed Citadel brushes are crap! At...
Thanks Gorb, highly appreciated!
I took immediately the remaining bitz and assembled
the third custom beast:
80837
Very nice start on the bird. With tenball's piece you have now a nice piece to compete with :-)
Skin and hair are a really cool colour combination. This will turn out great, once finished. So keep going :-)
Again, this is just stunning. I hope you put it onto your gallery... I'm ready to place a 10+++++ for this awesome project!
First of all: Nurgle!! Good choice :-)
Second: You're doing lovely conversions - I like that!
@Gorb: Thanks buddy :-) The varnish advice was well received!
@Dexter: Thx - sometimes it is good to give things a 2nd try
@Gawol: Happy you like it!
@EaterofLives: Sounds like a thing I'd like to...
@Gorb: You’re totally right... let’s count it as a failed try. Reminded me more to Christmas baubles than to monstrous eyes.
I gave it a second try... better I think:
80750
Thanks Toad :) Your terrain pieces were more than one time an insiration for me.
Wow... I'm blushing!!! Thank you so much Kuribo.
Thanks Guawol. That was exactly my intention :-)
Your bluish necron is incredible. Vibrant color in combination with rust and your professional "used look". Love it!
The most ambitous freehand you've done so far is "rock'n'roll". Very nice work. Level up my friend!!!
The guy looks like he just told a bad joke :-)
Hey Chris... your Motobike dio is just stunning!
I hope you have a special place to put this :-)
Even if you're saying it's still wip... to me you're close to the finish!
Beast #2 in progress:
80674
That wooden terrain is begging for some structural add-ons and paint :-)
The dio is beautiful Dexter! Just one little remark, might be related to the light in which you've taken the picture.
Is there varnish at water and blue ice parts? To my mind it could be more shiny.
@Dexter: Thanks :-) With all that piles of undone things at my desk I feel like not progressing. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Yeah... this weekend I've been asked by my gaming buddy, whether we...
You've received a very nice shiny effect on the rune!
Your artwork on the landscape is just outstanding. Reflection of the sky on the bike... 3d effects... just wow!!!
@Figg: Thanks a lot :-)
Oh those bricks were not scratch-built ^^ I bought these, washed them and assembled it with some instant cement.
80619
Very nice base layers and first shadings. Now the fun starts detailing this out :-)
Hi both,
thanks for the feedback :-)
@Guawol: Yep, these are going to be the nurgle specific terrain items, which are spawning based on several rules during the game (depending on units and/or...
The garden is growing... beside another scary tree
i‘ve bulit a Nurgle Mausoleum. Oh those bricks were a pleasure
to deal with ;)

Welcome back! Always nice to see hobbyists returning to the desk :-)
Great improvement on the eyes. I remember you struggling the last time, this time you nailed it!
Excellent work on the eyes. You captured the madness of this character!
Your alien Dio looks amazing. Always a joy to see your sculpting projects! Thumps up!
Oh, the next "big" guy within the pipeline. Looking forward to see this growing up :-)
@Kuribo: Indeed - the garden is hungry... looking for non-infected mortals :-)

@Gorb: Might be not an...
I love vibrant colouring. You nailed it!
Welcome to the show :-)
You got a lot of projects going on there! Nice to see that we're sharing passion for undeads, goblins and nurgle :)
My personal garden of Nurgle. Not sure how much
superglue went into this :)
80454
Now it is time for some paint work!
Painting started... and a second one under construction.
80443
Learn from the masters! I think there's nothing to add. Congratulations uncle BaM!
Nice work on Sophie so far.
Guessing you come back to your aztecian girfriend afterwards (Like in Toy story she will yell towards Sophie each night your're turning off the lights *harhar*)
Stunning work on the dio!!!
And regarding the snails: Maybe you can show them the movie "turbo" in order to motivate those :-P
Thanks guys.
@Kuribo: Feeling flattered ;) My personal thoughts around productivity
are more critical... sometimes I think of having speed like a snail *lol*
My recent custom build thing:...
Great job! Will surely drop a comment, once it is on your gallery :-)
The mini is just looking awesome!
Maybe you can do something with the mud on the base to round it up?
The shield is ace!!!
Voted + comment left.
The Daemonspew arrived today... and there were enough bitz

Wow! The scarf-piece looks like "real cotton"!!!
Voted and comment left for your Brute.
And wonderful work on sculpting the Alien!
I can feel him staring at me :-) Great job on his eyes!
That family picture looks great!!!
Very clean painting Clouds. Good job!
The only thing you should do for finalization is add some lighter colour to the sand on the base.
Thanks Kuribo :-) Yeah indeed, the assembling part is not that joiable than the painting. And the smell of plastic glue it not really comfortable neither.
Anyways... a couple of new models are...
Lord of Blights in progress:
80262
Busy this week with assembling my new buddies:
80257
Oh man, you got a heavy speed on pumping out nice minis :-)
Voted for your "ancient spear" - looking forward to see how you will deal with Shalaxi!
The beast of Nurgle is done: http://www.coolminiornot.com/450122
80216
As the mail order arrived few days ago, I'm now going to be very busy in assembling my demon squads :-)
Small update on the beast:
80212
The green armor and the carmo cloak look very promising. I'm feeling confident, that this will turn out great.
Maybe you can add some dirt to the armor, as this guy looks like a "jungle soldier".
The space kitten is really nice.
What game is this mini associated with?
The rusty hooks of Nemesis are looking great!
I really like the pike of this spear! Looks like an enchanted ancient weapon.
Welcome to the hobby and this place!
Nice start on your dio project :-)
The beast is primed and has a first layer touch:
80190
Few creative hours spent on this. Now the modelling clay needs to dry.
Will add some hot glue tomorrow to bring slime to the wounds.
Any further suggestions?
80183
Thanks Maxwin, appreciated.
The decision is taken. Nurgle it is. Prior to get started for this new journey, I worked the last days on finalizing another project sitting too long.
Revamping of...
Excellent used look!!!
Just voted on your latest piece of art! Looking great!
Thanks for the "insight". That helps.
Voted and comment left for your Lord.
Hi all,
thanks for the kind words. The goblin band is getting more and more progress.
Recently I decided to get rid of my Nighthaunts.
So I'm sticking to a) Ironjawz, b) Gloomspite Gitz and c)...
NMM on the Dwarf's shield is really nice worked out!
Would you share the colours you've used for this?
