That is some darn nice stuff right there.
I've fixed it by spraying with a satin-finish varnish and then reapplying the matte finish. Just another note- I shake everything for at least two minutes now. Good luck.
Very nice work.
I'm running out of adjectives for your great work but please keep posting and I'll make up some more.
Well deserved. Congrats!
I was a little late to the party, but so far I've picked up:
Stark vs. Lannister Starter set
Stark Bowmen
Tully Sworn Shields
Stark Heroes 1
Crannogman Trackers
Lannister Crossbows...
Thank you, both. Having lots of fun with these minis.
Finished up the Umber beserkers and the GreatJon, minus the basing details. I'm ready to start on the Lannisters now.

Very cool and nice bases, too.
This was fun! I'm looking forward to your Baratheon starter box WIP thread :mean:. Army Painter army green is my color of choice for bases and trays as well.
Thx bud. Actually, very minimally. Various brown base coats, with an Army Painter strong tone wash, then minimal highlights of the base color. That's it. I'm pretty lazy :brushwave:
Finished up my Stark cavalry. Only the Umbers and heroes left and I'm done with the Stark army in the starter box.

Wow, these are very nice. I too appreciate that these figures aren't loaded down with books, scrolls, bottles and such. It does speed up the painting and I'm a lazy painter to begin with.
The figure is awesome, of course, but also quite the job on his base.
Great stuff, as usual.
Finished the other Stark unit from the starter, including both officer attachments:

Wow, this is really cool stuff. Getting close to that finish line. :brushwave:
Thx sir. Finishing up the other 12 plus attachments and starting the outriders.
AlxRaven is correct, these paint up fast (no pouches or scabbards to slow you down). My first Stark unit complete.

And I see that the tray is reversed, lol. My bad.
:rotfl: Too true. Now I have to work GW's "The Fang" in there somewhere.
Wow! Great job on these.
That blue, well more of a grayish-blue, is always what I've pictured in my mind for House Stark when reading the books. When I discovered the game it came back and I used the shade in my collection...
Finished my Stark infantry test figure last night. I think these guys can go quickly (plus I have been in the painting mood because of this game). Here he is:

Thx bud, they are fun to paint. Starks are next.
Trying for a larger image:

*ok, that's better. Camera sidewise, medium image. Winner!*
Here's the completed unit, with bases and tray finished. I'm hoping these pics work:

I'm just starting a deep dive into this cool game and made the Tully Sworn Shields my first purchase. Here's my test-figure of a House Tully scheme. I'll be picking up the starter very soon.

Appreciate the response and appreciate this thread more. I'm excited to follow your progress.
This is going great, you are to be commended. Quick question. I have a few AP paints (love the huge range of colors) but I've found their pigment consistency decidedly inconsistent. I get great...
