You could have, but i prefer to use diluted paint as it ensures an even surface.

The recipe, with the bleached bone, will give a brownish colour. The charadon granite is a Deep Brown grey, and then the dheneb stone is a light brown grey. and then bleached bone is a yellow colour....

I've encountered 1 problem with the Washes. That is that they seem to seperate when left alone. However this is easily fixed with some shaking. When i sell these i'm going to get some...

I'll See what i can do. The first pigments i'm trying are highly pigmented and NON-TOXIC. So, i'll se what i can do to make sure it's bright and covers well.

Ok so, i've reformulated it a little more. On the Shaggoth it came out a little too thick, and didn't really flow. So i readjusted the formulation and now it flows quite well.

So here...

So.... The brown didn't turn out the way i thought it would! lol oh well.

The black turned out good though. I suppose i just need a more reddy brown, as this one came out yellowy and kinda...

I'll see what i can do! I got the package in, I'm just waiting for the chemicals to come to room temperature. I also decided to order some brushes from DickBlick, Raphael, Winsor and newton series...

I think your paint needs to be thinner(possibly) and also you need to remove some paint from your brush. I think there is too much on.

To much paint on brush??? If its chalky i find that adding a little water helps. I have a special solution for when somethign is chalky when watered down and that is Reaper flow improver + water....

From what i can see it does look a little more like copper. One thing i do when doing bronze, (using metallic paints, i use GW) is the very end it highlighted with shining gold, but very little....

Well, you can shade red by adding brown... black.....blue...green.... all make very nice shades of red!!!! all do completely different effects. :)

Looks pretty good, but some places need to be more shadowed, and some places need more highlights. (nose, brow etc. )

When diluting paint, if you don\'t want it to fall into the recesses wipe your brush off on a cloth or something before going to the mini, this will allow you to control where the paint goes:)

Vallejo game colour is saturated with colour, similar to the GW paints. The model colour is more desaturated(colour wise) giving flat neutral tones(however they have some bright ones)

It looks like your primer is a bit too thick, as well as your normal paints, just thin it down to about 1:1 (paint : water) and that should be a good starting point. Also wipe some of the paint off...
