Yet another Slayer Sword winning model to be. :cute:
Does anyone know who the main painter is for CMON's DarkAge stuff?
Hello all!
I'm in the UK for about 5 days so I thought I'd stock up on a few bits and bobs to take back to the desert with me! I'd really like to hear suggestions on which is the easiest curing...
Heya,
Thanks for the reply. It does help a little, I guess I just need to keep practicing with it. The only pictures I have really are ones that were taken using the Fujifilm bridge camera and not...
Hello all,
Up until now I've always used my trusted Fujifilm Finepix bridge camera to take pictures of my miniatures but recently I've had access to a Nikon D5300. Now I know the Nikon is the...
Oooh - I paint on Twitch when ever I can - how'd I get into the group :D
Hello Everyone!
First up, I hope this post finds you well and that you’re all enjoying some great hobby goodness time!
I’m writing this post as I shall over the next few months be re-locating ...
Thank you :)
Ok cool, thanks for the info. I'll be finding out about package offers soon I think, so I'll need to weigh up my options. I would think that I'd need to ship stuff like my extractor, airbrush kit /...
Ok cool - I may be heading out that way so I was wondering what the painter's scene was like, how easy it is to get hold of mini's, paints etc :)
Hello!
As the title suggests, I was just wondering if there are any painters out in the UAE and if so which part? :)
Peace!
Hello!
I just wanted to say that I'm selling the following:
x4 Squads of Grey Knights assembled but not painted (20 models) - selling @ £15.00 per squad
x1 Squad Grey Knights brand new in...
Happy Belated Birthday wishes to you man :)
I guess I'll just keep playing around with it until I get it right.
I should have clarified, there was no excess water ontop and the paint was just straight from the dropper bottle, no added water.
So I gave it another go today, and I placed four dots of different colored paints on the paper (I'm using P3 Wet Pallet Paper, which has had all around very good reviews) and as you can see, after an...
I've heard about people using paper towels instead of or with sponge, my only issue with that is the bits of paper towel fibre that will end up mixing with your paint.
Remember if you air brush invest in a good organic vapor mask and if money allows an extractor too. Your health is worth it.
I've never managed to get a wet palette to work for me, the paint always dries out or the paints run and mix into each other.
Yeh, the general consensus on the inter webs is that I just have the obstructed parts black or a a dark shadow and learn from it for the future. I guess I just have to put my perfectionist frame of...
Here's a question...Has anyone ever glued models together using plastic glue (plastic models) then realized they need to be painted without the arms on in order to get to the chest details.

I like the community here, but sniping and how easy it is to manipulate the vote system is why I don't upload pictures for voting here anymore. I'd love it if they were to adopt the same system as...
Oh yeh definitely, the red has pretty much just been blocked in. It'll be glazed over now with muted redish browns and the greens will be taken all the way down to blacks for the darkest points. Work...
Next step - added the 3rd colour shift before real blending & glazing begins : )

Merry Christmas Everyone! :)
I've just paid for a place on the NMM day, looking forward to it :)
Looks good man!
Thanks for the reply! ;p
Well done on the bronze! Outstanding for two weeks. If you don't mind me asking, how do apply your paint to un primed plastic? The one time I tried, I found it didn't want to adhere to where I was...
Lovely work man! :)
Lovely set of miniatures there man, all the best! ;)
Here's another long on-going project.
http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-IAWs5eMnfh8/VDV0V5GOrrI/AAAAAAAAAOk/PWfNn_tSvp4/s1600/DSCF1909.JPG
To have a change from looking at Maulg, I went on to do some more with Sapo! Starting to add some depth to the materials - do I do checks on the shirt or not?
So many questions!...
Glad you like it so far man. The checks and tattoos were both done on a whim, but I think they work - happy with the added detail it brings. :)
Did a little on his base last night too - I'd love some feed back!

Found it! Still not sure who the artist is though.
