It\'s mainly the snakebite leather giving the gold effect in this case... so keep that colour prominent.

My way of doing it.

I normally mix Snakebite leather (about 2/3) with chaos black (about 1/3) (which becomes slightly greenish)... use that as basecoat. Then highlight with snakebite leather...
