Sibling Rivalry---Really big red boobies

Yes, I know. I\'m doing WAAAYYY too many things at once but I promise to keep up on them all. Tonight/tomorrow is Ebay enrty day and then I start this.

This is for a submission in the Wyrd Magazine. It\'s a continuation of my \"Children\" series that started with \"I\'m Coming With You\" (see my gallery). This one is called \"Sibling Rivalry\" unless someone has a flash of brilliance and comes up with something better.





The idea is two Ortega Gunslinger Sisters, Dehlia (the little one) and Perdita (the big one) who are having a card game. One catches the other cheating so they are having a game of chicken.

The barrel will have \"gunpowder\" written on it and the stick will be replaced with a \"lit\" stick of dynamite. Perdita will be holding a teddybear that has cards falling out of it and Dehlia will be standing next to a box of dynamite. The base will be bigger, of course.

Suggestions?

the big one looked like a ....i think they call them exotic dancer now days. lol
so i had a lot of hope on this one till i read the description :D
if the painting is anywhere near the level of the last one then it will be very nice

lol lol lol Go to Wyrd Games and look up the Ortega Gunslingers in the news section and you\'ll understand the big one. There are all a bit.....high strung. Is it nature or nurture?

Actually I was thinking of just leaving this the way it is set up now and saying those words.

So after wasting a month on my \"wall\" and not getting it done in time I\'m in the mood for a bit of fun. So let\'s get this one going!

Here\'s my question; What colors do you think things should be? I was thinking red for the top on the big fig and the little figs dress with black and white as accents and black pants on the big one. But I\'m not sure. I might want to go brown and blue instead.

The feeling I\'m going for is \"a slightly crazed off kilter family\" as these are supposed to be Ortega Gunslingers from Wyrd and they are all nuts!

Any suggestions?

Cow printed chaps on the big one with a red top and a red with white polka dot dress on the tyke. At least thats how I picture it... Heh. >.>;

I think the name sounds good, my only complaint is that the barrel is so big that it dominates the scene. The overall idea is a great one.

I do have smaller ones. I\'ll post some pics with different ones and we\'ll see which is the best size.

The idea just isn\'t working for me to be honest. Even when you have explained it it\'s not really grabbing me, so if people are just going to be looking at the scene itself, without the explanation, I don\'t really think it\'s going to work well at all.

Something along the lines of Torn Blue Sky\'s suggestion sounds like it has more chance of working out as an overall scene I think. Sort of a role reversal, with the responsible and unimpressed youngster and the irresponsible mother.

Ok, so here\'s the thing. After my failed attempts at water effects for my last Ebay comp and considering one of my New Years resolutions is to finish all my WIP\'s before I start something new I\'ve desided to drag this out of the depths of thread hell and work on it. I need something fun after my poor swimming pearl diver got covered in pee. (if you haven\'t seen it yet and want to know what the heck I\'m talking about go to disscuss submissions and look for the string \"Never Trust a Shopkeeper\". It was sad. Really sad).

First question to all of you people; I bought a bit of aluminum pipe (really fine) to make some dynamite out of but how the heck do I cut the stuff without crimpping the ends shut? You simply CAN\'T use wire cutters. Please help!

Plumber\'s cutting tool is probably best - basically you clamp it round the pipe, and twist it round, and it scores into the pipe, then u tighten it a little, rescore, etc etc until it cuts all the way through...

I\'ll try and find a link of one...
