I know Cyril used to be. I wanted to ask a question specific to the Confrontation paintjobs.

I wish I did.....if I met someone who painted for Rackham, I\'d rub myself all over them hoping that some of their talent would \'rub-off\' on me :innocent:

I wished I would be one of them too or know one of them. But I know someone who nearly paints like them in my opinion.

One day....when you don\'t have a gaggle of nubile nymphettes clamouring to relieve you of your bodily fluids....you will understand. You wont sigh, you wont groan, you might just think, \"I wonder if I know any people who paint for Rackham?\"lollol That was the thread wasn\'t it?...?

My memory isn\'t what it will be..:D

well jarret, I guess you arn\'t in luck. none of these people know any of the painters, and that\'s why they\'re sitting here, posting these silly conversations. typical! lol

Though perhaps you could cut them out and just e-mail them? It\'s worth a try :)
edit: I mean e-mail the company/painters, not these numbskulls;)

Heh heh, yeah I noticed the thread sorta went nowhere. It\'s ok I have some ideas on how to achieve the effect.

    Best Regards

Hmmm.... well what do you expect from someone with a cat as an avatar?lol

Seriously though, I\'ve been painting some more Rackhams recently and if you\'re after tips on getting those sort of weathered/mottled yet smooth finishes to fabrics I might be able to help a little.

    Regards

    quick!!!! where\'s the shower :D
And kittykat could you post how you do it ??? I find that getting those sort of \"weathered/mottled yet smooth finishes to fabrics\" to be quit hard (also have to admite I only tried once, before giving up in frustration)

    Default Apologies....

Once again I seem to be responsible for degenerating a thread...... although I was nowhere near a shower till Mr Finn dragged me in....

Sensible answer to Shrouds original question follows:

Sorry, I don\'t know anyone who works for Rackham, but I wish I did \'cos it would be nice to have a natter about the techniques they use :)
