Default A question for the heavy metal team

Ok who\'s the clever so\'n\'so who painted this then?

    Nice piece of work.

I am starting a chaos army. That picture just solidified my lust for a new chaos army. That is one awesome mini and one helofa paint job. I second Dragon\'s desire to know who painted it.

My guess would be joe, razza or ana

Damn, that\'s nice. The style reminds me of how the Warmachine studio folks paint armor plates on their characters.

    way ta go joe!!!

looks like he\'s gone and nicked your style daz...
good to see that the gw style is evolvin\' and gettin\' stronger...

the blends on the shield and armour are sick!!!

phil was goin\' on and on about this guy at games day...he didn\'t have anything to say about the fluff of any other characters, but i think that might be a reflection on his own narcissismlol...

personally i like the single-minided bloodlust of a khorne champ, and the happy go lucky leperousy spreadin\' nurgle champs, but this guy does capture the \"look how hot i am in my golden armour\" self-absorbed fluff behind the character...

can\'t wait to read the book, and see the artwork...

    cheers
    jah

I was waiting to see a good pic of this paintjob. It looked stellar from the small scans/photos I saw a while back. I gotta say I\'m very impressed.

I would\'ve guessed it was done by Daz as well, so Joe\'s clearly been picking up a lot in his time with the EM team :D

It\'s a lovely job. Saw it at Games Day and thought it was Daz\'s.

although it definitely couldn\'t be Daz\'s due to the lack of blinks.

    Blinkety Blink. :P:P

Me and Arhalien had a bit of a debate about this on Warseer, as to which geezer/geezette painted it, and it\'s nice to know the answer.

It\'d be handy if they printed which painter painted it in WD. They print the sculptor, so why not the painter? I\'m under the impression that \'eavy metal colaborate on the units, but do the characters individually, so there\'s no reason why their name shouldn\'t be printed.

The masterclass of Sigvald is going to be intresting, though i\'m still waiting for Razza, Anja or Keith to do one.

Please tell Joe he\'s cost me £16.00 cos of that paint job. :D
But I consider it money well spent. ;)

Maybe you should get all of the \'ET group to do a version for coolmini. We all need a reason to drool on our monitors. :D lol

It feels rather unfamiliar being this excited about a new GW mini! Hope it\'s not a singularity. :)
