    hey guys

    i recently orded some jar lids for bases like what the eavy metal team use. But i want to cast them up in resin just for personal use

    does anyone know if there are any small kits availiable that would be suitable for casting them ???

    any help would be highly appreciated !!

    I\'m afraid I\'m not a big authority on casting though. I get others to do so on my behalf...

    i use lids on products i buy. they are free that way!

    You can just get some plumbing tube of whatever size and pour resin into that on a flat surface. Simple really :P

    Or plaster as its cheaper and easier to get hold of.

    Hey Sam!

    Here is a link to a bunch of really great links of products that you can use to cast your lids. They are quick drying molds and meant for the type of stuff you are trying to make. Hope this helps!

    that looke like the stuff i use for textures:


    it\'s called siligum and you can get it from hobbycraft. not expensive, holds detail pretty well and set in ten mins
