Looking good! The little details you've added are cool. I'll have to give the black ink trick a crack when I get around to painting me up some Abaddon plastic!

It’s exciting to watch this project evolve! What was the black ink you found?

    Hi Dr.Bob,

Thanks! I am enjoying it so far. The black ink is from scalecolor/scale75 its called inktense black.
I think i'm in love with it for solid black.

So do you use the black ink over flat black, or over a dark gray?

And what is your secret to gun barrels you alluded to earlier?

    (Sorry for the noob questions...)

    Hi Guys,
Sorry I haven't had time to work on it. work and RL seem to be getting in the way.
But I plan on getting some more work on it tomorrow.

    DRBob,
So i primered the whole thing in vallejo gray primmer thru my airbrush.
I then painted vallejo air black over most of the mini using the airbrush again.

I then painted all of the black metal parts on the mini with the inktense black twice. letting it dry completely each time.

As for the gun barrels. its really hard to drill gun barrels right.
I can't remember where i saw it done this way. might have been on DakkaDakka.? Anyways instead of drilling holes to make the barrels.
you just either glue or pin and glue small styreen tubes and extend the barrels. this way they are easier to make straight and round.

I put arrows pointing to the white styreen tubes i pinned and glued in place on the gun.
