Exactly what I needed exactly when I needed it. I am finally getting to some figs that I've been sitting on for a while and I have so much pinning to do. This officially made my life a million times easier.

Excellent Idea! I was in the process of magnetizing some of my plastic miniatures to swap parts for tourney gaming and placing the magnets in exactly the right spot is the same issue as pinning hole alignment. Your solution is far superior to any I've used for lining up holes! Thanks!

Elegant, simple, and it worked a treat, alleviating a few "grr" moments. Thanks.

Good tip - you can also do it the other way around, using the pinhole to indent the putty.
