Sorry about the size of the pic but I thought I'd share a stage shot of the Titan that Tim (Twosoc {Foundations Of War}) and I are doing, held together with Bluetac and a Metric F*cktonne (*) of pins.
Each joint at foot, knee and hip has at least 6 pins per side, while the torso has a 4mm brass rod.

The Torso has currently been stripped and reprimed as the Maskol 'failed', think we hit a bad bottle.

And I have to say the designers want a "Smack back into Sensible Land" for some of the over engineered and stupid designing.
Elbow and Knee joints really well sculpted, nice shape but as much use as a Nun with an AK47, when it comes to assembly.
It also has shoulder pads that Joan Collins would have killed for in Dynasty.
Torso is in five pieces, three 'lumps' and two plates, great for looks, Sh*t for practicality.
Oh and it says something when we have to plan freehand designs to hide the repair works on bad casting and FINGERPRINTS in the resin.

IF you are someone considering buying one of these (£400 notes) you really need to invest in a Dremel, for both drilling pins and smoothing out the atrocious moulding lines and a serious amount of Pro-Create. Or better still get some other stupid Bugger to build it for you.
Seriously this Kit Is Not for Beginners, Kiddies or someone with No Patience.

    Double Posting, my apologies.
Here's a look at shoulder pad assembly.
3 goes into 2 which then has 1 on the outside.
4 is supposed to be attached to the nub on the top of 1 and only there.
Forgeworld suggest that as its a small attachment point you may want to add a little greenstuff to bulk it up. No Sh*t Sherlock!
After that the Arm Ballsocket is supposed to sit in 3.

DR, that thing looks huge! Seems as though it's going to be a nightmare to get paint into all of those (very deep) nooks & crannies. Good luck with it

    My tally...

    1x HeroQuest plastic Zombie
2x GW plastic LotR Army Of The Dead (in blue)
1x Reaper - Dark Heaven Legends - Gildwin Rosewick
    1x BBC plastic Dalek
1x Hasslefree - Demon Kid - Witch Meg
1x Hasslefree - Pirate - Jen (Mystic Warrior Jen)
7x GW plastic Bretonnian Men At Arms & a filler base with 8 pod movement tray
1x GW plastic LotR Morgul Knight
1x GW LotR Black Numenorean Warrior
    1x Heresy Were-Turtle

17 so far, perhaps half that many still WIP with possibility of completion

    Cheers, B.

Deep crannies aren't the problem. Its getting the XXXXing gemstones right and there's a bucketload of them as well.

Blimey! So some of those gems are a couple of CMs long? Are you painting this to display standard or gaming? I baulked at buying a couple of cheap Rackham Wolfen over the weekend because they were so big B.

Noooo not the Were-Turtle! I've just received mine and had been thinking of him as practically unique as I've not seen him painted or even mentioned before.

Nice photo. Good, even lighting (though it could be a quarter-stop brighter I think). What are you shooting with?

NVM. I looked up the EXIF data. You're using the same camera I am! If I might make a suggestion. Using the mirror lock-up function can give you a bit of extra sharpness to your photos.

Finished another Cowboy, A WW 2 Captain America, and The Blue eyed lovable Thing.

That's 46. Still shooting for around 100 for this year. I've really slowed down in the past couple of months.

    My count now? ONE!!!

Pitiful I know but I did start late.

The Chaos Knight I started in June and my Roaming Knight in May. Chaos Knight completed Roaming Knight is 98% done - maybe this weekend if all goes well.
