    White Scars

    Ok, so I was practising the freehand lightning pattern on the leg on another of the CC Marines I have, but I've found that due to the angles of the armour, while it works well in 2D, in 3D it's a pain in the back side. But seeing as these markings vary from marine to marine (I think they're either brotherhood or squad markings), I'm trying to come up with a different pattern for the leg. Ive tried a simple half & half, with a zig zag edge, which works quite well. Just wondering if anyone else had any bright ideas I could try.

    Right this is the pattern thats a pain in 3D (right leg)

    And furthermore ladies and gentlemen, we have a Re........... Ehrm... brown-ish(?) Marine...



    Black 'Priming'
    Base coat of Necron Abyss mixed 50/50 with Blood Red
    Thraka Green wash and then a second coat of Scorched Brown.

    I believe that'll add some nice depth to the reds.

    I've finally got the cookie cutters WHEEE! One's missing it's gun though lmao! Never mind, the other one's the only one i'll need. Came in a handy box with stuffing to throw it back over the pond in too, bonus. Progress to follow very shortly!

    I looked man, emptied the stuffing and everything, it's cool. One's got all the bits that's all i'll need! It's possible they did open it though, one of the packs were somehow snapped off too. That'd be impossible with the sheer amount of stuffing in there... Gotta love US customs lol.

    You might be thankful if someone posts you back a painted marine scultped in C4 with a det hidden in the bolter that they check that shit, well worth the tax dollars "just incase" terrorists are turning to Warhammer, they did make the shoe bomb afterall lol.

    Yeah, tell me about it man. I'm not a fan of travelling in and out of the US anymore... Doesn't help that TSA agents seem to believe they're gods gift to humanity, protecting us all through utter subjugation ><
