Did some more on Nagash, but not to a point that pictures need to be taken.
Also made some progress on our piratess, though. Usual disclaimer for camera photo, etc...

The coat is almost looking like a red leather. Very cool mini. What are the basing plans?

Haven't gotten that far - she's already kind of based, so I probably won't do too much.

Love the contrast and darkness. She looks dangerous, fair wind and following seas with the rest

Did some work on the base for Nagash. Not sure how I'm going to bake it, since I don't think the black plastic will hold up to the temps Sculpey requires.
I still need to shape the stones a bit more, and and the inscriptions in the center.

A hair dryer maybe? Maybe a hot iron rolled across the surface or a heated pan gently rested on top? Perhaps a small plate of glass rested on top and then heated withe heat gun to distribute the heat evenly on top? I am literally guessing so take these ideas with salt.

My god - it's cassar. He still lives!
I haven't forgotten Beaky mate - just at a bit of a loss at how to proceed. Imperialist Marines in fluff take good care of their wargear between engagements, so you're not likely to see a lot of wear and tear. Battle damage perhaps, but I'm not too keen on marring your masterpiece.
He's still hanging out with his mini buddies as well as Frencesca.

Gonna try using the heat lamp I have for speeding greenstuff curing.
Will get some heat without melting the plastic.
    Got the script in place:

And some actual paint work too.
Believe it or not, the etching on the base and the writing in the book are a real language
Yeah, the book isn't going to win any medals, but it'll work for a tabletop model.

I haven't seen that bigature in a while. Standing stalwart and protecting the case.

That base looks really nice. How did the drying go?

The book looks good too. Great job on the writing!

Well....the drying worked. My heat lamp cured the sculpey. But it still warped the plastic. I ended up fixing a sheet of styrene to the bottom.
It's coming together. The flames aren't done, the metals aren't done, and there's still work to be done.

Haha you can't see most of them because of the Scale75 paint box - the case that the Lion Knight and co. are sitting on has about a dozen more unfinished minis. ><
There's 9 on top, and another 8 or so inside. I'm so bad about that.
