    Default Grimgor's waaagh!

    HI FOLKS,

here is my version of GRIMGOR, my favourite ork leader by warhammer!
I add the cloack and the fur, and a long tongue with magic sculp.
he's in the middle of the battle
...ouh...I add the chain to give him more moviment.

Incredible skin tones. I just love the overall dark and grungy feel.

Are you using oils for the skin colors? This is a hideously ugly version of the greatest of the Orc warlords! And by hideously ugly, I mean perfect. The tongue extension really makes a huge difference!

Thanks for the clarification. I look forward to sseing what you can do with oils, especially since you already had me fooled with the acrylics! Again, great job, I look forward to your next project.

Love the seamless transitions within the colors, notably the flesh tones. This particular style appeals to me so much more than the standard high contrast 'eavy metal style. Great work, you are a wonderful source of inspiration.

Most excellent! Especially love the metals and the worn paint on the mortar carriage; the paint giving way to wood is awesome

supervike: This site is cake, the scoring is icing. Scrape it off if you don't like it, the cake is still delicious!!

Dragonsreach: Oh my goodness, an Orrery and the Time Machine, at this time of the morning. I think I need a stiff cup of tea.

That's great! I've seen this mini a thousand times, and thought I'd be sick of it but your version is tremendous. The base really sells the story. Magnifico!

Rusto! I love your work! I still have your Arkevenger (Pegaso) saved to my favorites. The ork is gorgeous in a gory ugly sort of way. Well done!
