    they need some sort of writing/markings on them but i can't figure out what or where

    Well as this one is an Allied armed one I'd suggest looking up Sherman Tank markings and working from there.
    The other being German either look up the Germanic cross or Waffen SS Tank Markings.
    Oh and where, turret side or flat surfaces.

    Rather nice and I've just picked up the "Sherman on Legs" to use in Secrets of the Third Reich.

    I really like what you've done with them.

    If you don't feel comfortable with freehanding the markings, there are literally TONS of decals you can get for WW2 tanks that would be more than appropriate.

    They do look rather nice... which is unusual for something you've had anything to do with :P

    No but seriously they have come out great. I can't see from the pics but did you make the exposed rams highly polished like we said?

    i'm still not decided on the markings tbh as i don't game, it doesn't matter if they fit in with the game. random sci-fi markings may be ok

    and, yes, they are pure vma aluminium with a smidge of black-brown oils to show it's lubed
