    Default Euro-Militaire pictures

I had the good fortune to go to Euro-Militaire this last weekend, mostly due to Fran’s good efforts in getting a hotel at a stupidly low cost for the weekend, and train tickets at a bargain deal. (I’d feel really sorry for any Arab street market trader if she started haggling with him.)

Anyhow having been to a number of shows and competition I though I knew what to expect with the standard of painting……..WOW was I ever WRONG!

So here’s a few pictures just to show the Standard of work that was there.
(oh and I’ll be having to put up the pictures in clusters due to the number I took.)

These pictures were taken in the competition hall and while I've cropped them down from the original size I'm not going to apologise for the size as these figures deserve to be shown as clearly as possible.
    Enjoy.

Mcvey studios very nicely represented in the competition, I think that this one is Ritual's version.

Sir Sean Connery and I have to assume that it's representing him in the movie "The Molly Maguires".

Just enjoy the freehand on these next two pieces.
These figures are 74mm scale (IIRC) so the level of quality shows.

I'm having to edit and post in clusters due to memory usage on my laptop, so the next lot will be later on today.
    Enjoy.

That one got a lot of people looking at it, very cleverly done.
It depicts a man hiding in a wardrobe as the husband has come home.

No you are not mistaken that diorama contains three 1/35th scale fully detailed interior model aircraft.

Thanks, Mike. Love the pics. That Skaven is great, I think it's a plague monk with the two weapons, though.

They ain't kidding when they call it the world's premier military modelling show. That stuff is incredible! I've never been much of a one for the historicals, but still, the effort and dedication to detail that went into those minis is astounding. Thanks for the pictures Dragonsreach - this would have passed me by completely, otherwise

Thanks DragonsReach - great photos and utterly amazing painting, I'm not sure I could manage to pick a favourite, although I do like that Spartan figure a lot and the Virginia captain and Takeda Shingen busts are real nice to......

    Eye candy galore for all!!!
