After a long period of lazyness... I'm finally close to finishing my 10 man death company, I only need to finish the power weapons and do a little clean up here and there to pick up mistakes, although I'm not planning on being too picky, this has taken me long enough already! xD

Black is well-known for being difficult to paint well, you can be proud of your squad. Must be great to game against you!

Well, I cut two pieces of metal (from a tuna can haha!) and placed those on the side access points, and then glued magnets on the hatches and huricane bolter sponsons. This way I save some magnets.. hey they're quite expensive... anyways... :P

Here goes, new toys: An assault terminator squad with hammers and a Librarian with terminator armour, all assembled and bases done. I just realized that painting the Librarian will be very challenging, the details on "fail cast" are crazy good..

So, I finished the flyer's base, water effects and everything:

And I made some progress with the StormRaven, I painted all the base colors and applied washes to the body, so there's still a lot to work on. Need to get rid of the decals' gloss, finish the main cockpit interiors, etc.
The hard part will be to blend the reds up to BloodRed/BloodyRed, those are some huge flat surfaces I need to cover, it will be hard not to leave brush strokes behind.. (damn, It would be awesome to own an airbrush, specially for this kind of model... oh well..)

    Cheers.

Even the Eavy Metal painted models have flaws when enlarged to full screen.. Don't beat yourself up. I find your army great looking an inspiring!

So I started blending reds on the hull, I'm still not done though, but you should be able to notice some of the red gradients already. The Decals are a problem, I'll just freehand the blood angel icons on top of the decals to cover it. And after all the blending is done I'll finish the metal highlights and make a little weathering and paint chips here and there and I'll be done.

looks like a good army level=) seems like everyone is doing blood angels!

by the way, those water effects, are they GW? they look rather smooth and nice, even though they´re laid on think. looks nice.

It's called Crystal clear resin, I think is made of Poly-something resin (not polyestirene, something else.. polyuretane? something like that)
