Bad week this week

wasnt happy with bone armour, repainted last night - trying to real push myself to get a sharp looking paint job. Not going for real bone look but a more bluish tint like the original GW mini.

If that's the look you're after you appear to have nailed it. My first thought on scrolling down to the second picture was "Oh, and now he's finished it." Took me a second to realize it was your reference photo. Excellent.

Will - going with rotten flesh / bleach bone on the green highlights.

Im doing two projects at once as AndyG has laid down the gauntlet on the 'Crow' so I made a start. A NMM rust on the sword but ive gone a bit extreme on the highlights and it looks a bit like bronze.

Its a mix that JamesTTravers kindly shared with me when I asked about his GD winning duel.
Vermin fur, dark flesh, yellow, bleached bone.

Gave it a wash down with the base coat - I like the look, it don't look like rust but Hey! its fantasy

Like it 10ball. On the rust side of things I'd have gone normal NMM steel then really gone to town on the rust effect leaving minimal steel at the end. I like the look of sprokets demonstrated stippling effect on his eldar wings and you could use this to merge the edges of the rust and steel.

Awesome mini though! Me want!!
