Congrats on selling the Dai Bakemonos for a deserving price. It's good to keep those miniatures in circulation (instead of havin and admittingly pretty cool you're spending it on your son. He's a lucky guy (including cycling with a bunch ladies for a long trip hah).

My apologies if I have offended anyone living in the Far East.
I am not pleased to limit my markets, but I honestly believe that recasting is theft.
Personal experience has demonstrated a large number of recasters in that part
of the world, for both miniatures and larger scale figure kits.
I simply choose to make a good effort not to be part of it.

I have been burned twice on purchases. It's a shitty thing......

Dude, I can understand your feeling. But you should do some calculation. I suppose you're talking about China, which has 1.3 billion population. Let's assume every 1 million people only 1 know about Rackham, then there're still more than 1.3 thousands. And only 1 or 2 make Rackham recasting.
Here in Shanghai, we have official Game's workshop ship-flag shop and other unofficial store. We also have MTG Gran Prix tournament.
Recast is absolutely NO. If you use recast model to duel, once be found, you'll lose your reputation in the whole circle.
Recasting is a complicated issue. I have to say "Only in the state does man have a rational existence".
Hate them, just don't buy.

I think everyone can agree that recasting is not a simple issue. But I absolutely support Cfwheeler58. There are recasters everywhere, but the known recasters are in new zealand, china and russia. He has every right to do his part to limit "supplying" recasters with sculpts that they might be missing. There are certainly many upstanding gamers in those areas, but until governments in those areas enforce copyright laws and prevent recasters from turning a valuable product like this one into a commodity it is up to sellers like Cfwheeler58 to limit the market. Simply not buying has not been enough to stop those recasters. Even posting their names has not been enough of a deterrent. I'm sorry that you lose out in this. I wish you luck in finding the rackham models that you're missing.

I don't know if this thread is a great place to discuss this topic. Cfwheeler58 is a great seller and you can't go wrong dealing with him.

So you think it's fair to me? I've been refused several times on ebay. "thank you very much, but we don't ship these items to China..."
We're not discussing recasting, we're talking about Regional discrimination. You guys judge people by region, I can't imagine how immature you are. Every single person is an individual. But you think every innocent New zealand, Chinese or Russian people should be responsible for those recasting.
I don't really care if I could get those minis, I can let my French cousin buy from Europe. But I'm pissed off every time I meet people like you.
