Skittlebrau, is this what you had in mind for a chainsaw saddle?

That's one mean zombie killing machine.
If there had also been a cardboard unicorn horn in that photo, you would have won the ENTIRE interwebz!

I had to Photoshop it out for believability!

Finding a 28mm horse without a rider and without armor is proving more difficult than I thought!
Here is the best I could find: http://cuttingedgeminiatures.com/epa...Products/UNL01
At £10 for four, they are not too expensive...

I'll have to check scale, bu Arcane Legions is plastic and some of the infantry packs have riderless horses in the box - they need to have the figure glued on.
MSRP was $15 for ~fifteen cavalry, but you might find them at clearance prices. I'm almost certain scale is 28mm - but probably true 28mm, not heroic 28mm. So we'd have ponies, I guess. People asked for those, right?

I love you guys.
(FYI Arcane legion is smaller scale, but they DO have Bear Cavalry, so there is that...)
Someone needs to make that Donkey. I dub it, pain in the ass.

Something I'm working on... It's still rough, but you should be able to see the basic concept...

You might know me as Joshua "Cornbread" Harris from Kickstarter and BGG
I checker the scale on the Arcane Legion horse, and it makes a decent, ridable pony for heroic 28mm - just not a heavy warhorse.
On the other hand, man miniatures games have cavalry scaled slightly smaller than infantry to conserve plastic - measure leg length on riders to those on infantry for a good laugh - so it'd make a pretty convincing horse anyway.
MiniatureMarket has cavalry packs for $8 right now - Roman Cavalry has 10 horses and four bears, plus riders (other cavalry packs have 15 units, but I think only roman has separate horse molds.)

You know, I'm still disappointed that no-one wanted to play MetaKettle...
