Nice reds! I'm not usually a fan of the simulated scratches, but for a minute in the third pic I swore they were actually scratches.

Where's wolf?

Well as much as I wish I could say they're all simulated theyre not lol. They're part of the plastic kits!
I just used the same technique for simulated ones on them!

And as for Wolf, I was unhappy with the progression of the skin so he has been stripped and reprimed. Will be working on him after the juggernaut is finished

The red armor is looking good. A very good start and it is wise to attempt some personal goals to spend more time on the diversionary aspects of life.

personally i think you should push both highlight and shading bit more to make it sarkle and look more metal-ish, red is better to highlight pretty rough and then wash/shade down with for example red gore (excellent red colour me thinks) to avoid pinkiness. the piece seems a bit dull to me right now.

So I was looking at my Facebook page from the earliest time it still has which is 2007, and I found this guy on there. Didn't know I ever posted him to my facebook let alone that I ever had these photos!

Wish I remember how I did his armour!

So here's where I'm at. I haven't been able to paint in days. Need the next two days to bust ass through the Bloodcrusher.

In other news, this log is being repurposed. Besides showing my WIP stuff, I'll be working on something for Crystal Brush next year. I've already found a roommate and booked a room.

So with the US 2012 circuit closing, I'll be looking to 2013.

Crystal Brush huh? Awesome. I'm going to try and go next year (it's just down the street), but probably not as a competitor. I couldn't hang with those big boys. I just want to see the stuff in person.

Alright guys. Deadline has come for the local competition.
I dropped the piece off this afternoon, not 100% happy with the final product, but I turned in what was done.

The verdigris didn't set how I wanted it to. The NMM gold didn't come out how I wanted it to on the body, which led to the verdigris disaster, and finally used blood and gore to hide that fact on the front focal point of the model.

Back to the drawing board.

On another subject, they broke my Bloodcrusher while he was in the stores care.

Anyway, today I spent 90% of my time sleeping after getting off work at 9am. But after that, I began assembling part of my latest commission. A Necron Phalanx.
So in this picture is 28 Warriors, cleaned and glued. Now I just have to do arms and heads!

And I did some more work tonight. I began to assemble my first terminator for my Grey Knights, who will probably serve as my Grand Master until a better model is created.

I have the idea to make all 8 of the Grand Masters and the Supreme Grand Master of the Grey Knight chapter. I think it'd be pretty cool to have a Paladin squad/Terminator Squad based on them!

Anyway, I'll hopefully get to sculpting tomorrow, and can get the Necrons assembled.

So among some assembly work, I did more work on my clients Deathwing. I think I've finally managed to get the scheme recreated fully with new paints.
Not 100% happy but I think it's a close recreation. Now just to hear from him if he likes it.

Well tonight I rearranged my room and movies, so I could make space. So instead of painting, I took some new photo's of projects,

And now some WIP. I started painting that Grey Knight Terminator. Not sure I'm happy yet with the scheme. May have to try some new schemes out.
NMM gold was coming along ok though.

Next up is a new picture of the Deathwing Terminator.
This one shows more flaws that I had seen, but I can always make touch ups while I paint the other 19.

Bloodcrusher finally got some new pics.
Although yet again he broke upon entering the lightbox.

Trying for new pictures of my Dark Eldar flyer.

And the Dark Son and Priest got new ones.
