Cersei - DarkSword comp entry

Hi guys! This was a last minute quicky that I painted up a couple of nights ago for the DarkSword painting comp over in the Wamp forum.

Cersei Lannister from George RR Martin' s masterworks collection was a perfect excuse to try out sheer fabric fx and some marbling, and the competition is being judged by the man himself! Apparently he's a big fan of minis and I feel quite humbled that he will be casting his critical eye over the entries.

Oh, and on the highly likely chance that some of you have been watching Game of Thrones, please no spoilers as i'm only up the the end of season one so far! I do hope to get the audio books as that will allow me to carry on the story while my eyes are occupied with painting.

Your sheer is amazing. And read/listen to the books. The TV show is an awesome adaptation, but the books are still king.

Sorry to ruin your fantasy, but he looks nothing like me! :P It's Robert Baratheon, you infidel! I'm guessing you're not a fan of GoT? Man, you're missing out there. Without saying anything that may spoil the story for anyone, he's King of Westeros and husband to Cerei.

And yeah, he's not your most handsome of fellows! Unless you're into the fat, beardy look.
