New Painting DvD

Hey there,

My name is obsidian painting, i've chatted with a few of you before.

I just released a new DvD called:

A Comprehensive Guide to Painting Miniatures.

I don't profess to be a professional painter, and i don't profess to know everything, but i've always wanted to help people learn how to paint, which is why i started my youtube channel in the first place.

In the DvD i go over these things:


Colour theory - Just the basics. Pretty much just the necessary of what you need to know. colour combos, highlighting and shading etc.

Techniques - I go over all the techniques i know, from Layering, glazing, washing, drybrushing to wet blending, feathering, "juicing" or i just call it glazing.

Step by Steps - I also go over 3 step by step minis from start to finish showing you my process on how i paint.

It's the first DvD i've released and it's goal was not to cover specific aspects, but to give a general feel of how to get started in painting higher level minis.

i Have plans to make more dvd's covering more specific ideas like NMM, Skintones, Normal metal, basing, assembly etc.
