    Default Theme Song?

A friend and I were talking the other day about our life 'theme songs.' OK - honestly he was laughing at me for having them.
And yes, before you ask, I do sing them in my head when I'm about to do something significant!

So I was wondering if other people had them or if I was the only one, as my friend seems to think.

If I'm not the only one - what's your theme song?

    I have a few

    - Fat Bottomed Girls (Queen) - I'm, I guess the right word is, voluptuous and curvy in a state full of rail thin women - sometimes I gotta remind those women that I'm freakin' awesome
    - Big Girl (Mika) - for the same reasons, plus - it's dancy
    - Let It Be (Beatles) - I'm a habitual worrier. Even if it's something I can't change I will worry for hours about it. I sing this in my head to remind myself to chill the #&$@ out.

    So what about you guys?

So Happy Together - When Roger has done something particul;arly nice

We Are Family - When my son needs Mom support or the kids come over for Kid's Night

Fat Bottom Girls - For the same reasons you sing it probably. I live in California, you live in Florida. Life isn't fair sometimes.
We done done it now. We're finally hitched. We are now the dreaded two headed Roger - Liz - Bunting monster you have all feared.

"This is Gallifrey, Our Home" from the new Doctor Who series. A somewhat ironic theme, because I've never really felt 'at home' no matter where in the world I've stayed. Imaginary Gallifrey is as good a place as any for now.

"Child of God" by Hayley Westenra. It's how I feel about my soon-to-be-birthed son, despite being completely non-religious.

The theme from Morrowind plays quite often in my head while I'm cleaning. I'm an epic cleaner! ;D

I continually find the O Fortuna in my head at random occasions, often several times per day. But I haven't pinpointed why I start playing it in my head.

Oh, and I'm constantly humming and whistling random tunes of my own creation, no idea whether they're good or bad though, they just flow out. XD

Can't say I have a signature tune, but I use Loreena McKennett "Samain Night" as my general ring tone.

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
    I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
    Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me...
Mentally, I substitute "sea" for "sky" so it goes something like this:

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
    I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take the sea from me
Take me out to the black
Tell them I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sea from me
There's no place I can be
    Since I found Serenity
But you can't take the sea from me...

I find myself humming Closer by NIN and Violent Pornography by System of a Down. VP is fine to hum but no good if I start singing the words...

I think my theme song would be the soundtrack to the Looney Tunes cartoons.

O Fortuna is one that plays when I'm playing my dark eldar...evil, wicked good tune.

Spirit, stallion of the cirramirron is when I want to wish my mind (and me)away somewhere.

and this is a new one for when I want to feel epic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9DO1U1U5Rc

Why? It's not a poem or composition about evil, its a complaint against bad luck. The connection with evil comes from its use in the Omen series of movies.

Look up Loreena Mckennit on Youtube I think you'l like some of the instrumental works.
