Please please please make casts. I would pay so much money for a Syrio Forel or Tyrion mini.
So, as many of you may already know, things start from a wire armature. In this case, it is very important to me that the character could be recognized not just by his face, but the whole body also. Posture is an essential component of the miniature expression, so after some research, I found this stance to be quite representative of the dance teacher:
I proceeded by adding some basic volumes with a mix of apoxie and green stuff, and correcting the posture as I was modelling.
The illustration I found to use as a posture reference is a back view, so I have to study and figure out what would the clothing folds look like from the front view. Fortunately, I do have a useful pair of baggy pants for my reference notes.

Almost done!
Some more folds in the boots are missing, and I´ll rebuild the sword, turned out a bit short.
i have to say there is something with the hand holding the sword that looks little akward, i think it would look better if the sword angle was raised a little bit if possible. still looks ace though!![]()
Thanks Skel, advice taken!
I was going to cut the sword anyway, so I'll drill a new hole just above the existing axis, and raise the angle a little bit.
It's the angle of the wrist I think - if it were angled that strongly, it'd be further down. At least looking at my own wrist as reference. But ace work. And Valar Morghulis...

Great job, that's so dinamic!! Can't wait to see how the other one will turn up.
Amazing! It is a pretty representative pose for him and it looks fantastic!

Darksword miniatures does Tyrion in 28mm and 54mm.
28mm: http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/m...027_Tyrion.htm
54mm: http://www.darkswordminiatures.com/m...Tyrion54mm.htm
But they do not do a Syrio Forel or Jaqen H'ghar. Syrio looks amazing!

Why choose Space Wolves over other chapters?
‘They are desperate, and as savage as beasts.’
Magnus lost his smile.
‘I no longer think of them as animals, Ahmuz, though I once did. I now think of them as the purest of us all. Incorruptible. Single-minded. The perfection of my father’s vision.’

*SIGH* No update on Syrio's progress?

Me too!!! Lovely work, especially the face!
Lovely. So, when are you going to cast them up? I'd buy one for sure. I can already see the diorama in my head.
Surely I will!
I'm doing some research now, not sure if metal or resin, costs, etc.
