So, yep I'm painting again! Another dragon no less, but during my periods of hiatus from painting I'm usually either off travelling, or working on a photo book of my previous trip. So I last went away in march to India. Just recently got a couple of photo journals produced from that trip and my next trip isn't until August. So there is a fair chance I will get this dragon finished before I get distracted again. What's everyone else been up to?

I've been lurking for years. I am finally back in North America and starting to paint again. I am also looking at an IT program. Hopefully it will help me get a job.

I've just started back up painting but I've been making little equines under the name Crystal Moon Studio. My painting has taken a slightly different turn from doing miniatures to doing 1:9 scale Horses and in using oil paints too.

The usual droll of real life sadly. Other half walked out of a job a month back so now keeping an eye on what I spend, thankfully I got in on the Rivet Wars kickstarter before she walked out Working on lots of different projects at work (EPoS, in-house systems, websites) and writing a little HTML5 based isometric game in my spare time that will work on tablet devices. I'm painting all of the kitchen cupboards at home (taking forever - 6 coats of paint per side of each door) so although I'm doing painting, I'm not doing enough miniature painting for my liking.

I still have a mountain of unpainted lead lying about the house too, including loads of wooden and a fair few dragons. Speaking of which, I haven't seen many new dragons released of late. Anyone know of any I might have missed in the past couple of years?

Haven't touched a paintbrush in about 9 months........little one is now 17 months and takes up all my time. Wife has gone back to work 7am - 6pm so I look after him before nursery and after........day job has increased our workloads....so even being off sick or taking any hols, means I'm behind as soon as I get back.......knackered, stressed.

Find the odd bit of time to do some additional content for wargames.......currently working on rules for a Zombie Skirmish/RPG game. Spending more money on kickstarters......when I'm not painting I don't know why.

Always looking for a way to take the family out of the Rat Race to enjoy real life..........as I say to my wife.......this time next year we'll be millionaires

Building up the courage to start a WIP thread.... mainly on the basis that work means that it'll be the slowest developing WIP ever. I managed 1 mini in the entire of 2012. Not cool, but trying to stay motivated.

I'm trying my best to get through this idiotic summer class that I need for degree plan. So instead of reading a tenth of the book a week, it's per DAY. So that's sucking my time away and I have too many projects to get to: the Vandella WIP, the resin kit, the other minis on my table, etc, etc. And at every turn it seems I'm being thwarted because I'll be painting and something will happen like all my paint drying out because the fan is on high right next to me, or my primer's not working, or my paints aren't shaken up right, or any number of things that go wrong that I can't plan.

Surviving another year at work, now rocking the place hard like a boss, getting drawings pushed out. Generally being a hero to a lot of the other groups.

Hobby wise, I'm procrastinating right now, at this instant, from painting a bit more on the beggar/seer I'm working up. Waiting for the Kickstarter Bones to show up (might take a peek at those dragons; 8 coming not counting a frost wyrm, hydra, or the jabberwocky; available retail from Reaper once they've ship the last Kickstarter package) and when they do arrive... uh... putting them under a desk I think.

Bought a wood lathe so going to do some turnings soon. Most of the time just veggin' out on YouTube and other online diversions.

Howdy - I've been around a few years, but by no means as long as some. I've been painting much less recently due to the 16month old son (just this past week started walking. Oh good. Now the fun really starts...), having a house built (gah! So many seemingly unimportant details...) and the missus and I are expecting baby number 2 in early September. That, plus the job* keeping me working 6 days a week means I ain't getting much done, and when I do it tends to be slapdash army painting. I've managed a bit of PS3 recently, though. I very much enjoyed Silent Hill: Downpour, and am currently working through Biohazard 6, which despite being completely different to SH: Dis still a lot of fun. Also watched the last season of Doctor Who the other day. Quite enjoyed the last ep

*"the job" being teaching English at an all-girls school here in sunny Japan. Very sunny, in fact. 37degrees in Osaka today, and that's just the start of the summer
