Here's my first attempt at a scenario. The rules sheet and canal overlay's can be downloaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rujaf50u2d7crud/MjPFBdO12f
If anybody with more skill than me with Word and clipart can make a better job at making a waterway, the please do

Both Allied and Blight forces rush to capture the important crossings of the Lier canal. Whoever can hold these strategic positions can ensure prompt reinforcements to the front.

Summary: 2 forces battle it out to control the bridges.
    Requirements: Rivet Wars Eastern Front
Special Rules: The canal (Blue Squares) is impassable by land units and any such model entering the canal is destroyed. This includes forces using the ‘Death from Above’ and ‘Tunnel Rat’ or other Action Cards. No re-flip for these cards this time!
Secret Mission cards are not replaced automatically when achieved; instead you can replace one card for each Strategic Objective captured (you must have a model in the SO at the end of your turn) on your opponents’ side of the canal.
    Resources: 6DP and 1 Rivet
Victory Conditions: Capturing a Strategic Objective is worth 1VP, the first player to reach 10VP’s AND has a model in a Strategic Objective on the far side of the canal wins.

Hi comedianmasta, really liking this scenario, quick question, as the second wave is where this one will shine as more heroes, was your intention that all units that have bounties will give VPs, is tanks etc?

Been working on this scenario for days now - We enjoyed playing it, I'd love to know what you think. It's a relatively quick game on a small board (only 2-players I'm afraid):

    http://www.tehill.net/RivetWars/inde...news&article=6

Fresh Recruits: "The trenches of Rivet are a vast network. They are vital for moving fresh infantry reinforcements rapidly to the next assault. Sometimes the trenches are only a few metres apart; with rich pickings so close, it's hard to resist the opportunity to hinder the enemy before the real battle even begins."

VPs are scored by safely transporting new recruits across the board!

Yes. Tanks and whatever other unit they have would still earn VPs. Tanks, however, are not heroes, so they don't suffer the penalty for re-deploying heroes.

    Default The Battle of Bagnoste

The files can be found here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/i89n8pewppbjfmb/KeCGe862Mj

    Battle of Bagnoste
The Allies are quickly advancing through Blight territory and have become exhausted and lacking supplies. The advance units are currently resting in Bagnoste confident that their flanks are secure by dense forests but unbeknown to them, the crafty Rommler has found a way through and surprise the Allies. Can the Blighters take Bagnoste before it’s reinforced?

Summary: The Blight forces must capture Bagnoste before it can be heavily reinforced.
    Requirements: Rivet Wars and trees.
Special Rules: Blight forces may deploy in the forest, any unit deployed here gain Rapid Assault 2 as they surprise the Allies. For the purpose of the scenario, the tree grids count as bunkers granting cover to infantry and impassible to vehicles and cavalry.
Resources: Blight 6DP & 1 Rivet. Allies 4DP & 1 Rivet and start with 4 Riflemen deployed in the 4 houses (1 per bunker).
Victory Conditions: Allies 8VP, Blight 10VP. Only the Blight gain VP’s for capturing the Strategic Objectives. The Allies gain 1 every turn. The players do not start the game with any Secret Missions, instead they gain 1 (up to a max of 2) if they end their turn occupying 2 or more houses.

Notes; We played this 5 times with the Blight winning 2. In this scenario you have the tactical option of going for the SO's and VP's or the buildings to get a Secret Mission card. The flank attack of panzers Rapid Assaulting out of the woods can be a shock

I'm confused by the neutral deployment zones, who's recruits start in which grid? I'm guessing it's the one closest to the sides own deployment zone, but want to make sure.

That's a good point hithero I had not explicitly said that - Yes that was the intention. Your recruits are heading to war and are seen as an easy target because the trenches are so close. I think playing the other way might be a very long game! I also tried without the 2 empty tiles in the middle, that was a real struggle but if you enjoy the longer game you might want to give it a try!

    Re: Fresh Recruits -
Is there a reason that there are bunkers in the path for the Blight, but not the Allies?

    Re: Battle of Bagnoste -
What are you using for trees?
I assume you mean 1 Rifleman per bunker?
Are the deployment spots along the northern edge "in the forest"?

@donnbobhardy - Hi there, we found through experimentation that the Allies need to defend their units differently to Blight; mainly to stop MGs or Hammer-65lbs from annihilating either side. I would appreciate any feedback, if you think it needs adjusting.

That's exactly what I figured. I just wanted confirmation.

You can download and print the trees from the link.
Yes, 1 per bunker, have now made that clearer thanks.
Yes, all the spots along the top are in the forest. Also, the forest starting positions are NOT Blight territory.

    Thanks for reading and commentating.

Really great to see these scenarios. Very neat stuff. Decar, I really like that you added a picture of the game in progress. Really neat idea.

I'll try and get this up this weekend on the site. Please PM me if you ever want a file updated or adjusted. And keep posting suggestions on how this thread can grow and work best. Thanks.

Also here is a scenario I put together for VileMcnasty. You may have seen it posted in another thread. I put this together a couple weeks ago, I think and will post it this weekend as well.

Dig In! - Scenario by James Giffen (VileMcNasty)

Thanks Ted - a snap over Parman's shoulder - over the battlefield couldn't be resisted!

Dig In! looks great - should have chance to play it next week, there's going to be some tough decisions to make!

I've also put together a set of Action Cards - I think ready to print (only took me 10 attempts).

    http://tehill.net/RivetWars/?page=news&article=9

Portable Bullet Stopper: This card can be played during the movement phase. Essentially, it allows an infantry to build a bunker (out of sandbags) at the end of their movement phase. The card can only be played if the infantry is in a grid with only infantry present and only infantry may enter the grid for the duration of the game.

Can You Hear Birdsong?: This lets a player defend their Strategic Objective even after it's been captured. You've left a trap ready for the taking - I was inspired by the Lochnagar Mine during the Somme. Put simply the British forces retreated having left explosives behind for the advancing German soldiers. This was the largest explosion the world had ever seen and not beaten until Hiroshima. I was lucky enough to see the crater 12-15years ago and it was still easily 40ft deep.

Fog of War: A thick fog covers the grid and they cannot be attacked until the following round.

Bogged Down: The grid is slick with mud and any units may shoot OR move this turn. Not both.

I'm going to look for some tiles to represent these things and will include them soon

Like Dig In, that looks fun.

@Tom, I don't know why you are getting the border on the cards, but could be whatever software you are using to create the .pdf, I've just tried it in Word and it come out fine. You may want to have the card back next to the front, so they can be folded and glued to make a complete card. It might be an idea to save all the cards individually as jpgs, players could then format the layout how best suits their printer and have the option of double-sided printing, just the front to print or have a folded back. Publisher is really good for this sort of thing as you can save it however you like.

@hithero - good shout - I've uploaded PNG in a ZIP file so people can print how they like.

I think my problems were because of a combination of Word and my HP printer; it was adding an extra 1cm to my left hand border, meaning the faces didn't line up after printing; it was pretty weird because I had both pages centered. When I printed the PDF it worked from adobe it worked.

    Thanks for the help
