Thread: Update #83 - Unboxing

    Default Update #83 - Unboxing

    Whoa! Tons of fun!
Too much coolness with the alt. sculpts, so I made a separate thread:
    http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/...457#post731457

    Questions:
I thought we were getting 6 each of the plastic bunkers & objectives. The video showed 3 each - maybe they're stacked? Or there's a 2nd tray?

It looks like there is some packaging variation - a bunch of them are individually packaged, then they are also all together presumably for retail?

Related to this, the KS heroes are all in the blitz box. But they are also individually packaged. So I'm assuming if you bought an extra you'd get the cool retail packaging?

That is a ton of stuff! Will blitzkrieg backers be getting everything shown in both videos? It all looks amazing! My son is stoked about the canine units and heavy tanks. I'm ridiculous excited! Thanks for the update.

Sorry. A lot of that was add-ons. The Blitzkrieg will get everything shown here (http://www.coolminiornot.com/images/...llery-500B.jpg) and the special units (zombies and robots).

I think Blitz just gets the 1st plain cardboard blitz box, the war room box, the plastic bunkers box, 2 of the planes, and the 2 tiny guys shown in the 2nd video. The rest was all optional buys (the airplanes, the heavy metal, the alt. guards, elsa frost, etc.)

And the "Second Wave" box seems to be just a retail repackaging of the individual sets that were first opened.

Such a cool update. This will change the game in such cool ways. All those new plugs to try out in wacky combos. Bill and Ted's Excellent Gameplay videos needs to return pronto! Let's see these puppies in action!

@binarysunrise - here's a screenshot of the terrain set on it's side - I think they're stacked on top of each other so 6 SOs and 6 bunkers:

Default hi all, question for ted and team

This is going to be awesome, but I think there might be an issue unless I missed it. During the video, the guy talks about the heroes card, not cards plural? Both me and my brother use the current dash boards double-sidedness to full effect particularly when working out which units pose the most danger and need to be priority targets. So basically will we be getting two cards for the heroes? Or maybe have double sided cards for regular units with their current opposing counterpart unit on the reverse? This will hopefully clear up condition and prevent accidental(?) Shenanigans.
Love to know the plan please guys.

I prefer to use the A4 statsheets too. Im hoping Ted will drop these onto the website a bit nearer the time, we could at least print them then!

With all the new units and exclusive heros etc it's probably a lot harder to organise as efficiently as the Eastern Front core box.

I was hoping each retail box had 2 of the A4 statsheets in them. And then maybe what's missing be on a sheet in the Blitz. You definitely need them for your own guys and for the other guys when attacking *and* for defending.

Should be easy enough to make up your own sheet of cards if they don't do it officially, just line them up in your scanner and press copy. How many new ones do we get? Could organise them to make it easier to find, say heroes on one card another for vehicles and planes, another for the rest.

Or you could just use the cards!! Just stick them in a 3x3 card protector page. You guys are over thinking things a bit
